Great performers but the organizer can improve

by RC12 on 9/27/10Club Nokia - Los Angeles

Shin and A-Lin are both great performers and brought a enjoyable and memorable night. However, the organizer can use more planning. First, there is no encore that audience clearly wanted. I can understand there might be some limitations that encore is not feasible. But somebody should come out and explain to the audience what's going on and the concert is over and not let audience just stand there for 15 mins. Second, the last song, with all the kids, is frankly very weak and awkward. Definitely NOT a good way to end a good concert. Especially when there is no encore. The ending is just WEAK, which is not performer's fault but the organizer.

    Awesome A-Lin&Shin Concert

by luzyanglin on 9/27/10Club Nokia - Los Angeles

I had a great time at this concert, both artists are great singers. A-Lin's voice is one of the best in chinese music today and Shin is an awesome rock singer who really knows how to engage the audience, the emotions were high for everyone for his set, his star power is undeniable. It was also cute that he didn't memorize his set list and had to keep looking at it and even apologized for singing poorly (he blamed jet-lag) but I think he sounded just fine. This was a great concert, I hope more Chinese artists will get to perform in Los Angeles more frequently, I would love to see Jay Chou, Leehom Wang, JJ Lin, David Tao, Han Geng perform at the Staples/Nokia theaters, the turnout will be very high.

    Shin rocks!!!

by SINTillusion on 9/27/10Club Nokia - Los Angeles

Shin is simply awesome. A talented singer, a devoted performer. He totally rocks. A-Lin did an excellent job too. The concert couldn't be better (uh, perhaps it can if there's an encore... :O).
