About
Sheng Wang is a Taiwanese Texan who developed and honed his comedy in the thriving standup community of the San Francisco Bay Area. He performs jokes based on personal experiences and observations and addresses common non-sense with honesty and ill logic. His refreshingly affable stage presence combined with a healthy penchant for absurdity and self-deprecation make his act hilarious and universally accessible.
He has toured with the Comedians of Comedy and American Eagle’s ‘Campus Comedy Challenge.’ He has also appeared on Comedy Central’s ‘Live at Gotham' and attended the 'Just for Laughs’ comedy festival in Montreal. Wang's half hour Comedy Central special aired in 2011. NBC also awarded him with a holding deal that same year. Wang's appearance on the John Oliver NY Stand Up Show aired in August of 2012.

by Joseph G on 1/8/24Punch Line Comedy Club - Sacramento - SacramentoSheng Wang is hilarious, his comedic style I would describe as laid-back and relaxed and it really just felt like a funny common man you could meet at a bar or something and he would just make you laugh at small, observable everyday life things - he finds the humor in things that I would never think of and he’s endlessly entertaining. My wife and I had a blast!

Sheng had everyone one the edge of their seats, and amazing feature Sean Keane and host Chey Bell. I love his comedy and his integrity - Absolutely will see him again

by Jokeslover on 10/28/21Sometimes you feel bad for the standup comedians when you can't muster a laugh or the room is quiet and think "wow, they sure are brave". Well, with Sheng you will be laughing out loud the whole hour. He is smart, hilarious and his delivery is on point. You will not be disappointed! He exceeded expectations even after seeing 2 of his previous shows. PS I can't stand the cheap racist, sexist outdated jokes. You'll find none of that here. Excellent job Sheng.
