About

There are some talents that are too dynamic, too sexy, too significant to remain just a name on someone else's liner notes. Sure, it is a spot where Sevyn Streeter has thrived, crafting hits for Alicia Keys ("New Day"), Chris Brown ("Yeah 3x"), Fantasia ("Get it Right") and Ariana Grande ("The Way"). But as any ticket buyer fortunate enough to catch her high-energy tour dates with kindred spirit K. Michelle can attest, this sultry Floridian has simply too much to offer on the concert stage to stay behind the curtain for long.

Born Amber Denise Streeter, her early life was the picture of musical determination, with the church-trained singer placing first at Showtime at the Apollo at age 10 and scoring her first recording contract by 16. Now an adult, she hasn't had to wait for her first full-fledged album to find chart success, scoring a top 20 R&B hit with "I Like It" as well as a top five with "It Won't Stop" off her extended play EP Call Me Crazy ButÉ.. This is not just an artist with a sultry voice and dynamic stage presence, but a musician that has only started to tap everything she has to say about love, relationships and her own womanhood.

    Aisle 5 - Atlanta, GA Feb 9

    by Blvck Jay on 3/15/22

The Guilty Pleasurez Experience was amazing. I gained new friends while being in the front. And seeing Sevyn up close for the first time was literally amazing. She sounded amazing and the kiss she gave me during “Sex On The Ceiling” melted my heart. I cannot wait to see her again.

You want to hear vocals, show up for Sevyn

by Sevyn4Life on 2/17/22The Peppermint Club - Los Angeles

I’ll keep this brief. Sevyn puts on a show and proves she can do it all!! She is personable, includes the crowd, sings her own songs, and her dancing is everything. Go check her out, you won’t be sorry. Oh and pick up Drunken Wordz Sober thoughts ✌️

    Better Appreciation for Fans Pls

by The Real MK on 2/16/22The Cambridge Room at House Of Blues - Dallas

The actual concert was probably much better than I comment on but it was 2 hours late starting and we had to stand the whole time, so by that time I was aggravated, tired and my feet hurt (having worked all day prior to that). We had already stood outside waiting and then having to stand inside, that was a game changer. Standing almost 3 hours before Sevyn Streeter hit the stage then another 50 minutes during the performance was ridiculous. They need to invest in chairs or not have people waiting that long before the show begins. That's very disrespectful!!! My tickets had row and seat numbers but that was also misleading as hell!! Now had she hit the stage at 7 or even shortly after 7 (as the time it was supposed to start) or if I were sitting and waiting, I probably could have gotten into it. Very disappointed :( Not sure who's the blame...the House of Blues or Sevyn Streeter...but after mentioning this to several people following the show, the did say that the House of Blues is known for having standing room only and starting shows ridiculously late.

    Short Performance

by Tay on 2/15/22The Cambridge Room at House Of Blues - Dallas

While The Vocals Were Top Tier-I Mean ALL THE WAY IN POINT-The Performance was 45 Mins If That. And A Lot Of Songs Weren’t Performed Especially For Day One Fans 😞

    Good Show Weak Event

by The Anomaly on 2/10/22Gramercy Theatre - New York

Loved Sevyn, she is truly talented. Her set was less than a hour, she had a DJ open for her but that didn't work. He got the crowd hype and then closed his set and we stood there waiting for 50 minutes until she started the show. ????? That was a bust. When she took the stage she did her thing. I wish her show was a little longer. Another 10 - 15 minutes would've satisfied me because her set was about 45 minutes. Either way, I've been wanting to see her for years, I'm glad I did. I would recommend seeing her but don't travel out of state like I did for the performance. It may not be worth it. If she's performing local to your area and the tickets are priced right, absolutely see her. She has hits for days!

Sevyn Streeter was extremely boring and she waited until the end to sing the one song everyone knew. She didn't have much crowd interaction or stage presence beyond gyrating side to side with her backup dancers. Ayo and Teo were awesome! Their energy was crazy, they came into the audience allowing for pictures and worked the stage with dance moves and flips. I wouldn't recommend using festival pier as a venue for future Peace on the Streets. There were no elevated seating so most of the children could not see. Which wasn't a problem at the Dell or the other Penns Landing area that the station used in the past. Overall the concert experience was okay, because Ayo and Teo was lit! For the past 4 years I've taken a small group of children to both Philly concerts.(We never attended the Chester concerts) However, I won't return to this particular venue going forward.
