Serani Tickets

The concert was billed to begin at 10:30. My husband and I showed up a bit late (10:45) and found the Norva sparsely filled. The bar was open and the stage was bare except for a DJ who was playing reggae. By 11:30 everyone was restless, however the staff had no indication of when the concert would begin. The VIP section was the only area that had seating, but it was closed off despite the long wait and only two girls populated the whole second floor. By around 1:15, Serani finally graced us with his presence. First there were two opening acts that were decent, but unnecessary, after making everyone stand around in a barely filled room with no available seating for about 3 hours. When Serani finally came on he spent15 minutes wishing some girl happy birthday and his show included a total of 5 songs. The 50 dollars I spent on this concert would have been better spent at dinner or in drinks at a nice lounge.

I loved the show!!! The only reason I did not rate this event a five is because we had to wait 2 hours for the show to start. However, when the artists finally performed, they put on a great show. It was worth the wait!! My sister, who does not listen to any kind of reggae, enjoyed herself also. My favorite performer was DIng Dong, he kept the crowd hype. Serani and Bugle did a great job as well. The show was also great because when the entertainers were not entertaining you, the Carribean people in the crowd were very entertaining. I love the way they dance. The only thing I wish is that the show had started on time, that way the performers wouldn't have had to cut the show short.
