About

Post-grunge rockers Seether looked back on their decade-plus career in 2013 by releasing a two-disc anthology dubbed Seether 2002-2013 and then, as is their longstanding habit, boarding their tour bus. Fans who scored tickets to the band's concerts saw the South African trio -- currently comprised of singer-guitarist Shaun Morgan, bassist Dale Stewart, and drummer John Humphrey -- pounding out favorites like "Broken," "Remedy," "Fine Again," and "Truth."

Seether came to the U.S. in 2002 after performing for a few years in their home country of South Africa under the band name Saron Gas. The risky move proved to be a smart one; the group easily slid into U.S. rock radio playlists and has since sold millions of albums around the world. Three of the band's albums -- 2002's Disclaimer, 2004's Disclaimer II, 2005's Karma and Effect and 2007's Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces -- sold more than 500,000 copies in the United States. Seether's 2011 studio album, Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray, reached No. 2 on The Billboard 200, making it the highest-charting album of the band's career.

    Love Seether

We need you to come to USANA in Utah next summer. I wouldn't hate it if you came with Shinedown, and Foo Fighters as well. 😉

    Please come to LA

    by R. L. on 10/24/22

Seether has always been one of my absolute favorite bands. I showed my dad this bad and we would just sit in my room and rock out for hours. It is now a fond memory I have with my dad who have passed. And I still continue to listen and play their songs for others. Please preform live soon.

Phoned it in at the county fair

    by AtomicPunk on 7/23/22

There was no opening act, just Seether. At 8pm on the nose they started their set after the roadies did a brief sound check. I walked up towards the stage as soon as they started and I actually thought it was a cover band trying to play Seether songs, but no it was them. They sounded like they need to rehearse more. Shaun the lead singer stands stage right, the bass player is at center stage. The whole thing seemed like a band that is just there for a paycheck and didn't care about the performance. Eventually they got into a bit of a groove and the crowd seemed somewhat into it. Surprisingly as headliners their set was maybe 75 minutes, tops. They played the radio hits and that's it. I saw the Stadium Tour with Crue, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett just a few days ago and obviously that's a multimillion dollar production and not in the same league as a county fair but those bands really performed at a high level. The difference was astounding. I probably won't go out of my way to see Seether again.

They’ve made it so why try

by Teesa on 7/21/22Q Casino Back Waters Stage - Dubuque

Seether definitely knows they’ve made it. They came in did their songs, which were great, and left. No performance for the fans. Why? They don’t need to, they’ve made it… Not an excuse! Wherever they are or whoever they are performing for, they are still fans that deserve a performance! Nonpoint and 10 years were AMAZING! They really gave a performance! They made up for seethers lack of performance.

    Fantastic

by Kath on 7/20/22Q Casino Back Waters Stage - Dubuque

We've seen Seether here before and they never disappoint. Ten Years and Nonpoint were also great. Great venue to see a show. For an outdoor venue, sound is outstanding. That can be hit or miss sometimes. A little more food selection would be okay as it's a long night, but what was there worked.
