Great bands, poor sound
by H on 6/17/23Moon Room at Summit - DenverBands rip. Must be the fact that its a portion of a venue but the sound was muted for vocals which was a bummer. Bands sounded much better at the Marquis.

SECRETS IN CONCERT:
Post-hardcore outfit Secrets has been steadily on the rise with a dynamic hybrid sound that combines the ferocity of metalcore with the melodic sensibility of pop punk. In the span of a single song the band manages to cover a staggering range of territory, blazing through soaring and emotional verses before plunging headfirst into distorted, snarling hardcore breakdowns. Whether they're playing the thrash-worthy "Ready for Repair" or the anthemic "Somewhere in Hiding", Secrets deliver their complex yet catchy songs with a tautness and energy that always leave ticket buyers wanting more.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
San Diego, CA-based Secrets formed in 2010 when several former members of the band A City Serene joined forces with singer and rhythm guitarist Richard Rogers. The band hit the ground running, signing with Rise Records in 2011 and releasing their debut album The Ascent the following year. The record peaked at No. 3 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart, drawing the band out for extensive touring alongside acts like Sleeping With Sirens and Escape the Fate. They followed up in 2013 with their sophomore album Fragile Figures, which reached No. 13 on the Independent Albums chart thanks to several high-octane singles. A hotly anticipated stint on the 2014 Vans Warped Tour followed, and the band's adrenaline-filled performances on the road further boosted their popularity. With their stellar blend of hard-hitting technical chops and radio-friendly hooks, Secrets are well on their way to post-hardcore stardom.

The sound was all kinds of wonky. Mics were not working properly. There was no stage lights for the first three bands. Attendees did complain about lights and sound and moon room did nothing.
I seen Secrets with Picturesque a few years ago (2018-2019) at the Loving Touch in Royal Oak, Michigan. Hands down, one of the best concerts Ive ever been to. I would love to see Secrets again once they come to Michigan.
it was very worth it even though palisades canceled but still worth it
I enjoyed this concert so so much!! I was able to stand right next to the stage and also was given two guitar picks. After the concert, I met the lead guitarist and lead singer! I loved every minute of it!! ☺️🥰
I went to this show for the openers. Picturesque, Too Close to Touch (one of my favorites), and Palisades were all opening for Secrets. They all had an amazing show (though I still don't care much for the headlining band). This is my second time going to Masquerade and I'm very sad to see it go. It is easily one of my favorite venues, even though it's over a two hour drive for me.
Saw these guys when I was at warped tour. I usually don't like any screamo but I really like their music!! Plus one of the guys is a clone of Rob Synder. Def go see them if you can.
Never heard of them till they were the opening band at a concert I went to. They are amazing, and super nice. their music is amazing.
