Second City was a fun night out.

by NeighborhoodCrew on 2/10/13Carolina Theatre - Durham

Carolina Theater is always one of my favorite venues. Add in a bunch of funny guys and girls and I'm a happy girl! The Second City crew kept me laughing for 2 hours. My favorite skit was the three guys as gay men. "If we can't get married, you can't get married because we're going to steal your women." As always, the staff at Carolina Theater were friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Great show-very entertaining. A mix of short and long skits.

Great fun! This was date night for my husband and I and it was fun to do something different. Such a fun performance, and so fast paced!

2nd City was in a league of its own!

    by tj777 on 2/10/13Carolina Theatre - Durham

I felt like I was back in Toronto! The four of us laughed ourselves silly and we are still fighting over which scene was the best. I have to say that "Two lies and truth" is still at the top of my list!

    Stick to scripted skits

by joamey on 2/10/13Carolina Theatre - Durham

I enjoyed the show, but it was rather average. Many of the improv skits fell rather flat. Also many people were complaining that they could not hear some of the punch lines, even though they were sitting very close to the stage. I would suggest that his particular group stick to scripted acts since their improv left much to be desired

Great show. Funny, on point, great cast dynamic. They should have had one last sound check, sometimes the lines were fuzzy.

Great show. I would have liked just a little bit more crowd engagement though.

    The Second City was average

by Anonymous on 4/1/12Wilbur Theatre - Boston

This event did include many "laugh out loud" moments. Their improvisational comedy was often hilarious. However, many of their skits were not entertaining. Some of their improv and skits were simply not very clever or quick-witted. This show was not a complete swing and a miss, it was quite funny, but I found that this world class comedy act to be rivaled with the ImprovAsylum, a much better troupe in boston.

The cast was great. The show was well-produced. Very funny. Right length. Great encore.
