Love the whole fan experience
Lumen Field - Seattle
I love the ECS section. It’s a lot of fun to do the chants and songs.

Great experience
Lumen Field - Seattle
I was somewhat apprehensive when my son asked if we could fly to Seattle for a pro soccer playoff game. All I can say is, "WOW". What a memorable experience for us. The stadium is crazy loud, the attendee energy was amazing, the drums and band were a huge added touch. The engagement of the crowd was probably what was most impressive (along with a good polish sausage and a beer...right?). We will definitely attend another game when we are in Seattle again regardless of who they are playing. Thank you.

Accessible seating is unfair and a mess
Lumen Field - Seattle
First, in many of the accessible sections, most of the fans are able-bodied people (not handicapped). So there is obviously nobody checking to see if people are taking away seats from people who actually need those seats and their companions. Second, in our section in CHR109, people were not sitting in their assigned seats, and the numbers on the cup-holders do not match the number of chairs. The complete disregard for handicapped people and their right to seating without complications at these events is appalling.

Unrestricted view...was restricted
I expect that if you say seats are unrestricted view, I'd expect not to have a restricted view. There was bars to the left view of my seats, making it hard to watch the field. That's all!

Exciting and Kind Atmosphere
Lumen Field - Seattle
I really enjoyed my time at the game and found the staff to be very friendly and warm, especially at the end of the game. 3 of us went together and used semi-ambulatory seating. It was difficult for us to find the accessibile route into the stadium (it's through the Delta lounge) but found it easily on the way out. One of the staff noticed my Mexico Natl team Jersey and gave me a cool vintage pin to match! The game is exciting and the fans are very engaged so it's vibrant. I highly recommend going to a game, even if you aren't very interested in soccer. I also appreciate the different price points on tickets.

They stunk

The only good thing about the event were the Chinese drummers and lions before the game started.

Sounders Win
Lumen Field - Seattle
Why 4 stars? This was our 5th sounders game and each has been a different experience in different parts of the stadium. This time we were in section 126 near midfield and about 25 rows back. Great location. Fantastic spot to watch warm-ups and game intros. As the game started everyone in the area stood to cheer. That was the last we used our seats apart from a brief portion of half time. Not a problem for me, but the trip was a birthday gift to my son and a fellow soccer playing friend. Too short to see over much of the crowd and too old to stand on seats the ‘great seats’ were downgraded to ok for us. Sometime in the middle of the first half an extra 3 folks pushed into our row (two sets of people claimed the same seats) further compromising our view as we lost the ability to even stand in front of 1 of our seats and got shoved further in. See love the sounders and the game was a blast, but also left something wanting. We wanted to be near the action, but also wanted to be able to see the game.

Sounders till I die!
If you don’t enjoy these games, then you don’t enjoy a good time!
Seattle Sounders at Emerald Queen Casino Pitch at Lumen Field
Going to a Seattle Sounders match is not what you'd expect from soccer in the United States. Picture this: Thousands of fans from the Emerald City Supporters group chanting "Seattle Sounders, here we go!" to the tune of The Beatles' "Yellow Submarine" at one end of Lumen Field. At the other end of the stadium, thousands of fans from The North End Faithful sing atop the thundering beat of the in-stadium Sound Wave Marching Band.
Some may say that the vibe feels decidedly European, and global soccer site Copa90 called the Sounders experience the "Most Incredible Fan Culture in the US." In fact, much like in Europe, the Sounders FC Alliance allows season ticket holders and fans to vote on team management decisions.
Considering that the 2016 and 2019 MLS Cup Champions did not miss the playoffs for the first 10 years since the team's inaugural season in 2009, it's easy to imagine why Sounders fans are so passionate about their team and flat-out expect greatness on the pitch.
Seattle Sounders History
Joining the MLS as an expansion team in 2009, the Seattle Sounders are a Western Conference powerhouse who have won four U.S. Open Cups, one Supporters' Shield (2014) for having the best record in MLS, and two MLS Cup Championships in 2016 and 2019.
Jordan Morris was named the 2019 MLS Comeback Player of the Year after recovering from a torn ACL that sidelined him for nearly all of 2018. The Sounders earned the No. 2 seed in the MLS Western Conference and qualified for the MLS Cup Playoffs for the 11th straight season.
The Sounders play their home games before a 41,000-capacity crowd on the Emerald Queen Casino Pitch at Lumen Field in downtown Seattle, also the home of the NFL's Seattle Seahawks. The team's majority owner is Adrian Hanauer, and minority owners include comedian Drew Carey, the estate of Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, and film exec Joe Roth.
The Sounders' players academy has produced USMNT studs in Jordan Morris and Newcastle United defender DeAndre Yedlin.
