We hadn't attended a Seattle International Comedy Competition before and this show was everything we hoped it would be. Ten comedians equaled tons of laughs - they were truly talented and funny, as was the host (he was a former competitor in this competition).
Excellent comics! Host was the best. Laughs all nite! Nonstop laughter !
I laughed so hard my face hurt. The master of ceremonies was probably the funniest of all; but they were all good!
As regular weekly viewers of live stand-up comedy, we were already familiar with 3 of the comedians and their jokes, which unfortunately don't change often enough (you work an hr a day, come on!). The seats were VERY cramped close together, and an intermission would have been nice so we could get a drink. Also, I was hoping the audience would have more of a say (the MC did say there was an applause point), but I guess that's not how these work. Aaand I didn't really agree with the results. BUT! Other than all that, the comedy was GREAT, which is all that ultimately matters. I'd go again. :D
Best price ticket in town! We saw a great comedy show and we are comedy snobs . Judges didn't know up from down and was the general talk as we left but as far the fans are concerned we got an amazing night of comedy at a bargain price
The most I've laughed all year! Definitely worth checking it out. The comics are always different, so you never know what you'll get. These were the Top 10 finalists in the overall competition thus far, and they all deserved to win. A few of them made me laugh so hard, I cried!
