Scott was late & Seven Stone ROCKED

by Mastera1 on 9/14/14Golden Nugget Grand Ballroom - AC

The Wildabouts & Scott were about 40 minutes late & only played a short set & did 1 song encore.... Great place to see concerts & affordable... Drinks were even affordable which is rare for an AC venue..

    tough one

by davetherave923 on 9/4/14Golden Nugget - Atlantic City

I am a huge fan of Scott's, so I was very excited to see him live, (although I had the pleasure of catching Velvet Revolver in Philly some years ago!)!! He came out, a little late, after a crappy South Jersey cover band, and announced that he had the flu and a 102 temp. He was great and did not seem to be affected, but not counting a cover of Dream Jeanie, he only did 10 songs!!! Very dissappointed!!!

Great venue. There isn't a bad seat in the room. Great ticket price. It is wonderful to have affordable prices so middle class people can actually go to a concert. An Awesome band, Seven Stone, opened for Scott Weiland. We really enjoyed their music. Scott and his band were absolutely fantastic. His voice and the music sounded amazing!. We had a great time!

    Better than expected !

by Anonymous on 9/3/14Golden Nugget - Atlantic City

I honestly didn't expect Scott to be as good as he was, based on the last two times I saw him (2013, Mt. Pocono,Pa. and Wilmington, De.) Notoriously late (about 40 minutes), Scott and the band took the stage with his band, the Wildabouts. The only one I recognized from the last shows was the Bass Guitarist. Scott was not his usual nattily dressed self, looking disheveled in a t-shirt, wrinkled dress shirt, and vest. He opened with an STP staple, "cracker man", which was well received by the audience, a third of which remained standing the entire show. After the first song, he told the crowd that he had been fighting "the flu" for three days. The band only played two original songs, which Scott said were from their new Album, and filled the rest of the show with STP hits, with a few changes in the song arrangements. The band came out for one encore song, and played for about an hour and ten minutes total. All in all, a pleasant surprise from the former STP front man. I hope to see him locally in the near future...

    Scott Weiland

by MickN on 9/3/14Golden Nugget - Atlantic City

Scott (and the band) was great despite fighting the flu (hopefully not else). I believe he had to cut the show a little short but still playing over an hour which was good.

    Disappointed in South Jersey

by PAS622 on 9/3/14Golden Nugget - Atlantic City

I was disappointed in Scott Weiland and his new band, not Stone Temple Pilots, but apparently someone didn't tell him he's no longer with the other Pilots, so why do the music. I was expecting to hear his solo career music. It was like watching an STP cover band.

    Weiland still kicks ass

by AJC3172 on 9/3/14Golden Nugget - Atlantic City

He's still got it! Mixes STP and Velvet revolver songs with solo and upcoming tunes... The Wildabouts are a kick ass band also

SCOTT WEILAND IS ONE OF THE BEST SINGERS EVER!

by SebastianC on 4/18/14Viper Room - West Hollywood

I was totally blown away by his performance at the Viper Room, he sang all the best of Core and Purple, it was a luxury seeing him at that historic venue. I would definitely go to see his concert again ! I HAD A BLAST !

    Worst show ever

    by Jamie12345abcd on 9/4/13The Norva - Norfolk

Scott took 1.5 hours before coming out after the 2nd band. He messes up words to the songs and was not into the music at all. Complete waste of money and time. So sad being a huge STP fan, been to dozens of shows in numerous states and venues. Hope he gets his act together. Highlight of the night was the 2nd band, the Rouge... really good.
