BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

The son of legendary Mahavishnu Orchestra keyboardist Jan Hammer, Paul Hammer became a talented multi-instrumentalist in his own right before he even graduated high school. While studying at NYU, the younger Hammer struck up a songwriting partnership with classmate Deidre Muro. The duo adopted the name Savoir Adore in 2009 and released their debut LP In the Wooded Forest later that year. A Kickstarter campaign supported their 2013 album Our Nature, which further established the band as an act to watch in the synthpop realm. Despite their success, Muro parted ways with the group following a 2014 tour and left Hammer to soldier on with guest vocalists over the next couple years. He continued to build on Savoir Adore's body of work in 2016 with the band's third album The Love that Remains, which wowed fans and critics alike beginning with the advance single "Giants." An electrifying live act known for sparking serious dance parties, Savoir Adore continues to amass fans every time they take their pulse-pounding show on the road.
