About

SAN CISCO IN CONCERT:

San Cisco has been taking the Australian indie rock scene by storm thanks to their hook-filled tunes and  on-point musicianship. The band gets fans fired up during their lively sets and creates upbeat, dance-worthy music as frontman Jordi Davieson croons alongside their singing drummer Scarlett Stevens. San Cisco perform fun tracks like "Fred Astaire" and "Awkward" with an energy that can't be matched, and they always keep ticket buyers singing along to their hook-filled jams on their must-see tours.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Hailing from Down Under, San Cisco was formed in 2009 by high school friends Jordi Davieson (vocals) and Scarlett Stevens (drums). They added Josh Biondillo on guitar and Nick Gardner on bass soon after and started writing songs as a four-piece. They released their debut EP Golden Revolver in 2010, receiving major praise from critics along with plenty of radio play throughout Australia. The group continued their success with 2012's Awkward EP and earned legions of new fans on their nationwide headlining tour. They broke out with their eponymous debut LP later that year which was nominated for three ARIA Music Awards in 2013 -- including Best Independent Release and Best Dance Release. Since then they've supported major indie acts like Architecture In Helsinki and Smallpools and have played for packed houses at their own headlining shows. On tour San Cisco always deliver a bewitching set that's filled with raw passion and phenomenal performances.

San cisco put on an AMAZING SHOW. Great, danceable songs from all their albums (including fan favs) plus, Jordi and Scarlett were nice enough to meet fans and sign stuff after the show!!!! Crowd was boring though, and that def affected the show

They were awesome, opener band was good! Only complaint is that there are no food options and you can't leave once you're in the venue.

Mothxr SUCKS but San Cisco is a DREAM

by Ranaki on 7/5/15Bowery Ballroom - New York

We came to see San Cisco, and had been awaiting this event for over a month. We were aware that there would be an opening band, but in our experience with other concerts, openers are usually of the same genre as the main artist and also usually don't go on for very long. Mothxr, on the other hand, was terrible. Their style was completely different than San Cisco, and they went on for way longer than the appropriate time. Compared to San Cisco, they were awful. The music was too loud, the lyrics were unintelligible, and the mic kept squeaking but the lead singer seemed too into himself to notice. Despite very clearly indifferent reactions from the audience, Mothxr kept on going and there was no sighting of San Cisco, the reason we paid Bowery Ballroom $20 each, until 10:15. We expected the concert to start at 9, and for the opening act to not go for more than half an hour. Despite all of this, San Cisco was amazing. We sincerely hope that the Bowery Ballroom will continue to support San Cisco as their career unfolds.
