Sampson Tickets

What an amazing evening of stand up comedy. We were really tired from the long weekend and got back in town in time enough to buy tickets for the show (which was good because we heard that it was sold out by the time we got to the venue), and we don't regret it. The doors opened promptly at 7:30PM, everyone was ushered in, served drinks and food quickly, comfortable seating and everyone who showed up was in a great mood, made for a great vibe waiting for the show to start. The lights dimmed and the show started at exactly 8PM. From then on, there was non-stop belly laughing. From the host Ash, and feature Karen, they set a tone. Sampson came on, and absolutely knocked it out of the park! Hilarious mix of one liners, crowd work, story telling and uplifting words of affirmation to the audience. As always, he delivered and worked hard and made sure everyone in the club had a great time. We left feeling uplifted, happy and our sides ached from laughing so hard. What an amazing night of comedy!

Sampson was on point from beginning to end. The opening act was even funny. By the end of the night, my jaws and abs hurt from laughing so much. Fresh comedy mixed with some great words of wisdom. The Wife and I were recounting and laughing about memorable jokes all the way home and the next day. Loved it!

Sampson is a new, up and coming comedian who brings a new fresh take on funny. His routines make you laugh from beginning to end.

From the host, to the feature and headliner, this show deserves an award for being one of the funniest shows on the East Coast.

Sampson came to Philly one Friday night and did a show at the Way Center, and we went and checked it out. It was the most fun, an hour and a half of very interesting, original, and funny stories (it doesn't seem like he tells jokes) but its all funny as hell, and he really makes everyone comfortable, takes his time and makes sure everybody enjoys themselves. I don't laugh out loud at much, but I laughed out loud a few times. A very good show.

He puts on a fun, energetic, feel good show, and does material about the LGBT community, but is very tasteful and never alienates anyone who may identify as anything else (gay, straight, black, white) a very positive experience.
