    Lucky to have been there!

by 70sMusicMan on 7/15/13Fortune Bay Casino - Tower

This concert was AMAZING! Could not find a site for reviewing the 7/13/2013 show at Fortune Bay Casino in Minnesota, so decided to use this site to comment. John Ford Coley opened with "I'd really love to see you tonight" which was how our group felt about all the acts we saw. Player & Firefall sounded awesome - just like they did back when they were on the radio. The special treat of the night was seeing & hearing Al Stewart who sounded so crisp and right on key for both Time Passages & Year of the Cat. Orleans did a spectacular job as the house band for all these acts and they kept the show flowing quickly from one song to another without interruptions. Christopher Cross topped the night off and sounded awesome too. The whole gang returned for an encore performance. It was obvious they were having so much fun playing together - just as much fun as we were all having in the audience listening to their classics.

    Incredible!!!

by AnaheimWilliam on 6/15/13Del Mar Fairgrounds - Del Mar

20 years ago we couldn't get near these bands. It's amazing that we could see 4 of them at once and such a small venue. I was talking with them between songs! These Fair layouts are great!

Fun, nostalgic evening of 70's - 80's music.

by Meggiemack on 6/14/13Del Mar Fairgrounds - Del Mar

Christopher Cross was fun and Player, Firefall and Orleans were in great form. The backdrop of the fair was great, if only to see how many foods they will actually throw into a deep fryer.

Great Show - Great memories - one disappointment

by salieb on 6/14/13Del Mar Fairgrounds - Del Mar

All these guys are still great & not broken down and old. FUN!. Best part was that there was minimal breaking down and setting up - they shared instruments and backup performers, and just kept going with each group doing all of their greatest hits, which we all go to see primarily. Wow to Christopher Cross & "Ride Like the Wind", terrific! to Player and "Baby Come back", and all the Orleans songs. Only disappointment was Firefall - they should have closed the show with their rockin-version of "Mexico" like they typically do, but they never even played it. Go - good time. Fair Venue was a slight disappointment. Paid extra for a table & to eat & drink. Slow service, kitchen closes at 9, put food order in at 8:15p (show started at 7:30), after 30 minutes advised kitchen closed - never got dinner. Sucked. Ripped off.

Christopher Cross was remarkable. We have seen him before. Firefall, Orleans, and Player were great. Enjoyed the event.
