    Great time with German visitors

by McKen on 4/15/24Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

It was fun explaining the rules of American baseball. The Brats were good and the beer selection was even good enough for a discerning German palate.

    Easter Day Game

by J9 on 4/3/24Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Took the kids on Easter Day. Everyone working there is so incredible nice from the parking gate to the stadium entry gate and inside the park. Amazing people and kindness! Game was great! The only issue is that we were excited for the 12:30 Easter Egg Hunt but apparently they put the eggs out early and didn't block off until time. The eggs were gone before The Hunt Time. Disappointing for the kids. Great park though!

    Concessions not prepared

by Bobby on 3/28/24Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Over-all Okay, The concessions were dismal. I got up at the end of the 2nd inning to grab two hot dogs. The lines were horrendous and it was hard to tell what line went to what concession. I walked up to the front and asked people what line they were in and worked my way, way way back to the end. There was an announcement when I got close that a lot of items were sold out. Thankfully not the hotdogs. One hour later with hot dogs in hand I had to go to three different condiment stations to get mustard for two hot dogs. I missed 3 innings and my wife got so worried she came looking for me. Only ketchup and mustard, not the usual fair with pickle relish & onions etc. Not the River Cat experience I am use to. With parking up to $25 from $15 and major league prices for seats the Giants could have at least tried to win the game, or make it exciting at least. The River Cats performed well. I hope the seat and parking prices go back to normal. I was excited to see beer getting sold in the stands, I do hope that practice continues.

SF Giants exhibition w/ AAA River Cats

by Bryon and Max on 3/28/24Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

My family all had a wonderful time at this game in Sacramento, with some great quality baseball played, and the players were nice enough to take time and sign autographs for kids. I only wish that there was a printed ticket option (even if it’s after the game)—these are commemorative keepsakes and nostalgia that the four of us really would like to add to our collection. We have ticket stubs from games we attended when I was growing up and even before. I don’t like the exclusively digital ticketing.

    Disappointed

by former fan on 3/28/24Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Rivercats definitely not ready to handle the masses. I remember years ago just driving into a parking lot, paying cash, and parking. Easy. Now, there seems to be a variety of parking lots, but some are not open to the public (which you don't realize until you're at the lot) and there was nobody directing traffic. What a mess. So...we drive around and finally find a lot. What we didn't know was there would be a 40 minute wait to pay for parking using a machine that was extremely slow (many in line just gave up and said they would risk a parking ticket!). We left after 5 innings, and noticed some lots originally closed to the public were now open. Of course, at that time, nobody was looking for parking. We also noticed a lot charging $25 for parking was immediately next to a lot charging $1.75. Should also mention all the concession lines were the longest I've ever seen at any ballpark and extremely slow. This was a really bad experience.

miss 1/3 of the game inline for food??

by big crowd, little service! on 3/28/24Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Sutter Heath Park, home of the RiverCats, hosted the San Fransisco Giants in a pre season game. There was a "sell-out-crowd"but the vendors were only equipped for the usual... less than half this amount! The result of having 3 servers at a stand and a 1 hour wait for a hot dog! The "Park"knew, week in advance, of the sell-out but did not get the vendors in the loop. The new ownership has shown it real goal ... get the money...screw the fans!!

    Not Quite Teady

by Tacosaurus on 3/27/24Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Enjoyed the game, loved seeing the Giants in Sac. Rivercats need to up their concession game. Way too many 30 minute lines. Cold Hot Dogs. No Mustard in the dispensers. Same thing happened Opening Day last year. Do Better!
