Ryan Star performed phenomenally at the Bowery Ballroom. Often times there are performers who sound good on their CD's, but then sound crappy live. Ryan Star sounds just as good, if not better, when performing live. I'm really glad I had the opportunity to see him perform and I would go again in a heartbeat if I found out he was having another concert.
Ryan Star always delivers a performance beyond expectation.
First time to the Bowery and first time seeing Ryan Star. Completely worth it, best live show I've ever attended. The Bowery Ballroom is a very intimate place, puts you right in the middle of everything. And, Ryan and the band were just awesome. Got to hear all the new music live the day it was released, plus more. Definitely will see him again.
Ryan Star rocks, his band is great, and the place was sold out! Looking forward to the next show.
I have been to many Ryan Star concerts, but really wanted to be there for this album release show. It was everything I hoped for and more. Genevieve, the opener, was fun and adorable. Ryan, Dan, Eli, Artie, and Dallin play with such intensity, and energy! I love the new music on Angels + Animals!

This was the last night of the takeover and I feared that I wouldn't be able to get a ticket but I got one the day before the show! :) I have seen Ryan before and he doesn't disappoint at all! Overall, great intimate venue and intimate show to the point where i felt his sweat whoa! Highly recommend this guy's smooth vocals to be heard all over! Venue was nice, small but nice I got to literally touch the stage and got the setlist for both him and Juliette!
Standing in the close quarters of the Mercury Lounge Ryan Star & Jillette Johnson gave great performances to close out a week of sold out shows throughout NYCs most intimate venues. Starting the night off, Jillette played a great set showing off her vocal prowess and giving a solid performance of her thought provoking song "Cameron". Ryan Star mixed old and new playing tracks from his new EP "Animals" as well as a few throwbacks to his days with "Stage".

Ryan Star never disapoints. His stage presence is amazing, his vocals are mesmarizing, the band if fantabulous and will continue to see every East Coast show I can. Highly recommend to all. Much love to Ryan, Dan, Dallin, Elias, Artie. You all are loved very much.
