The show was excellent from beginning to end. Dancing was magnificent, creative and dazzling. The physicality in some of the movements was unbelievable and we were left very impressed. The Fox Valley PAC in Appleton is a great venue so our experience left us feeling impressed and satisfied.
It was nice. Women dancers seemed stronger/better than males in this performance. It was fun tho.
I decided to attend the Russian Ballet at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center at the last minute. As I needed five seats together, the only seats left were in the very last row in the Family Circle. I was hesitant to purchase these seats because they were so far from the stage but these seats were wonderful! It was very easy for my young daughters (ages 4,6,8) to see the stage - no need for a booster seat!
Beautiful performance. 6 year old daughter, her Mom, and another adult friend were all enchanted!
This production did not meet expectations. The music is not Prokofiev's best and the choreography was similarly very traditional and unexciting. As for the dancers, the two main role dancers - Cinderella and the prince did not shine and were overshadowed by the two sisters and the harlequin.
The ballet dance was good and the sets were fine. The canned music was poor. I was expecting live music (as in an orchestra perhaps!) for a ballet but it was prerecorded music. Not that enjoyable, for the price. Also, because it was the story of Cinderella, there were a LOT of ill behaved children there who were too young to be at a ballet. Parents are to blame for this. Ballet is no place for little childrem. Perhaps there should be an age cut-off!
The ballet was performed with grace and amazing Beautiful moves. The performance by all the talented troop will by a memory I will Treasure all my life. From begining to the end of the story Cinderella was Magical. Thank you for a night I will never foget.
Loved seeing the wonderful precision of this special company. However, not having a live orchestra, and only a recorded soundtrack for the music, left the show rather flat for us. Please either consider having a live orchestra for the performers that deserve every aspect of theatre magic to be present, as well as the audience, or note the music is recorded in the marketing.
The performance is the first class ballet. Movements and control are great. Glad to see diversity in the cast as well. Wonder if costumes and stage scenes can be made more colorful and multidimensional using most contemporary digit technology.
Entertaining stunning ballet. I really enjoyed seeing the beautiful lights and formations. The ballet was graceful, especially Cinderella was very very nice. All dancers performed well. Being in the audience was so much fun. I got to see with my husband. It was a memorable moment. Thank you Best wishes Saumya
