    Meh

by YYCSpeedy on 6/18/19Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

I was a bit disappointed. It was more an hour-long rant than it was a comedy show. There were some funny parts, but he constantly goes off on these "stream-of-consciousness" soliloquies. When he does that, he's hard to follow, and it just isn't what I had hoped for. I had hoped to be laughing for an hour or more, not being lectured about how the world is screwed up, and we just need to be more spiritual/religious. I think he could still convey that message if he mixed it in with some solid humour. Saw John Cleese do this quite elegantly about three weeks ago. Mr. Brand could take lessons.

    Russell Brand

by wintirwolf on 10/28/13The Tabernacle - Atlanta

Russell Brand provided an entertaining event that my family thoroughly enjoyed. The venue was excellent as well as our seat locations were perfect to be able to view the evenings proceedings.

    So disappointing

by Felina47 on 10/12/13Civic Theatre - New Orleans

The music playing while waiting for the performance was HORRIBLE. Ear piercing. Saw others also with fingers in ears it was so loud. You couldn't talk to anyone while awaiting performance. I know Russell Brand has a British accent, heard him many times on TV and understood him perfectly but he spoke so fast this night we couldn't understand him. He was comical at first but when he started making fun of Jesus, we walked out. Guess I should have read reviews first and know what to expect. was a waste of our money...could have gone out and had a great meal instead. Other than that, the CIVIC is a beautiful venue (drinks too expensive....$4.00 for water, really!)

Learn how Russell Brand is like Jesus Christ!

by CorruptAngel on 10/9/13Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

This show was hilarious. Brand draws parallels between himself and famous leaders throughout history. It was an excellent show and if you enjoy comedy shows, I highly recommend it.

    Yada, Yada, Yada

by Seeworld on 10/2/13The Tabernacle - Atlanta

Seeming more manic than even Robin Williams, Russell Brand's quick wit and tongue captivates his audience and keeps them under his thumb. He reveals that he has a small penis and other enlightenments such as his admiration for Gandhi, Che, Malcolm, and a guy named Jesus and keeps us entertained with his funny photos of himself looking like Charles Manson and other cool stuff. He exhausted me with his energy... a real comic genius.
