Although the game was a bit of a dud, the experience wasn't. The atmosphere in and around TD Place was excellent. Loads of energy as one entered the stadium - too bad the energy didn't transfer into the crowd for the match. Always great to see Canada's national teams play. Would certainly do it again!
Event was good, and we had sufficient information to get to our seats and the venue with time to spare. However, BC Place is a no large bag policy, something which wasn’t mentioned on our ticket or on ticketmaster. This meant we ended up emptying our bag, carrying jackets/purse/water bottle (which also had to be emptied prior to entering the arena) to check in a medium-sized empty backpack. If this had been advertised on the ticket info we would have taken a smaller bag.
I love all kinds of sports but have never had the interest in learning about Rugby. I went to my first ever game between Canada & Scotland and although Canada lost, it was a great experience. Will for sure go and watch another.
The game was awesome even though the score was lopsided. The Haka was incredibly to see live!!
We had a great time for our first visit to the redeveloped BMO Field. It is very well done, with good sitelines and sound clarity. Even if the announcer didn't appear to know much about the subject she was speaking about. The concessions are at price points which exhibit greed. Even when water was bought, the salesperson apologized for the cost of water, let alone anything else. Over priced at every turn I did enjoy the game and would come back again, but not to buy anything while I was there
Game was great! However parking was practically non existent. Ended up missing 1/4 of the game due to inability to find parking at the venue.
Great match.. The haka was incredible in person.. Overall a little cold but a great experience!!
NewZealand Maori All Blacks were clearly the superior team but the Canadians showed their mettle for good stretches of play. The real star of the day was the fantastic views and atmosphere inside BMO field. I loved watching the game in this venue. Definitely the park added to the experience. A full strength Canadian side would have made this a five star event.
All I can say is wow. Only two problems, first the beer was way too expensive..... 14... Seriously, $14 for a beer and the announcer at the game sounded like the warden from a women's prison. Those are just 2 small problems, they are over shadowed by the epicness of the game
The game itself was absolutely amazing but two of my friends couldn't get in because there was absolutely no parking whatsoever!! That was more than a little disappointing!
