They were Magnificent!!! Their music was as good as Steely Dan LIVE!! As a matter of fact, the last couple times I saw SD, they didn’t play ”Do it Again”, and TRS did! They were really tight! I recommend them for all SD Fans!!
I just got bumped off after I filled this out...So to be concise......NOTHING could have been done to make this a better show and/or venue. The Band as always was amazing.....already made hotel reservations for next April. Thanks you Berks Jazz Fest. Raddison, and Mostly Thank You Royal Scam for another world class show.
The Royal Scan is a terrific band. Very entertaining and energetic. The new vocalist has really elevated their show. I am not sure why the Berks Jazz Fest booked them at the Goodnights Lounge, however. This is not a comfortable venue to see a show. Terrible sightlines and the show was overbooked. Some people could not even find seats inside. It was poorly organized. People that were there early had to leave the lounge to get wrist bands and then compete with others that were just showing up at the door to reenter. As much as I like this band, I will not attend their next performance at the same venue in July 2019.
If you love Steely Dan music, you will love this band. This tribute band is spot on!
Royal Scam appeared once again at the Berks Jazz Fest. As always they entertained and are truly one of the best tribute bands. They covered many of Steely Dan's hits and put in some of the new stuff. I've seen them before and will see them again.
