    Absolutely perfect

    by J. R. on 2/12/20Kings Theatre - Brooklyn

At age 72 I am new to ballet and it’s all thanks to the Kings theater in Brooklyn. I saw the Nutcracker in December and came back for Romeo and Juliet. Both were breathtaking. The Kings staff are some of the loveliest people I have encounter. They make you feel like you are entering their home. They really make you feel welcome something often missing in this day and age. Hope they have more ballets scheduled in the future

    Wonderful dancing and music

by Tom A on 2/11/20Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - Baltimore

Of course the music for this Romeo and Juliet by Prokofiev is spectacularly beautiful. Unfortunately, and understandably, the music was recorded, not live. And it was a bit loud in the first half of the performance. Romeo and Juliet were wonderful dancers. The company was great. Costumes were lovely. Overall a really enjoyable and memorable performance..

Professional production. Can’t go wrong with a classic from Shakespeare’s story and an unforgettable music from Sergey Prokofiev. Dancers nailed it. The set was great. You could tell the guys were 100% putting themselves out there, and ballet is not easy. We don’t understand why the tickets were so affordable? Recommend!!!!!

Sergei Prokofiev gets most of the accolades

by Ballet1O1Mane on 4/7/14Shea's Performing Arts Center - Buffalo

Certainly, Silvina Vaccarell (Juliet) and Jace Coronado (Mercutio) deserve very high praise for their performance. They were the true stars there. They are the reason why I would recommend my friends to go and see this performance. Enjoy the ease that they demonstrate in their flying movements. Bravo! I am in no mood to downgrade a desire of any dancer to extend the limits of his or her professional dance life. Sergio Neglia deserves a lot of praise for all the efforts to bring new ballet productions to Buffalo. However, the choreography might be more interesting if it is not done to accommodate his personal limits in dancing that unfortunately cannot be prevented from appearing at certain time of our lives. The was no need to sacrifice the choreography just to see himself in a leading role. The orchestra seemed to be at lost at the beginning, but it finally recovered and played well. However, Sergei Prokofiev gets most of the accolades.

    Beautiful & Romantic

by pghballerina on 11/6/13Uihlein Hall Marcus Center - Milwaukee

Romeo and Juliet was beautiful! I went on Saturday night Nov. 2nd. The ballerina as Juliet was an amazing dancer and wonderful actress! She was so strong, graceful and believable as Juliet! All the dancers were wonderful! I was also very impressed with Mercutio. His dancing was amazing and his playfulness in character was entertaining! I especially liked the scene where Juliet is alone in her bedroom in such pain over her love for Romeo and the arranged marriage situation she finds herself in. Also have to pick the love scene between Romeo & Juliet. They danced effortlessly! The scene was beautiful and romantic.

    There is only one word...WOW

by Toeshoes7 on 11/5/13Uihlein Hall Marcus Center - Milwaukee

The playful sport and gaiety are but a thin mask to the tragedy that is to come. From first glance to passionate embrace Romeo and his Juliet dance on our hearts as we witness true love unfold. Tragedy follows closely and pounces quickly. The love that blossomed as the rose is cut from life and left to be mourned by the ages.
