One of the best shows I've seen in years! Jared Bybee as Emile de Becque has a voice that truly touches the soul! Catrina Teruel Clark as Bloody Mary likewise delivers an unforgettable performance!

South Pacific didn'tleave much to the imagination.

    by Annabelle21 on 3/17/12Cadillac Palace - Chicago

This was a well done production. Some of the original inoccent charm was lost In this production. I was disappointed with the fact that there was. nudity and sexual gestures on stage. There wasn't any indication in the synopsis online that there would be any kind of nudity or lewd gestures. There should be because there were quite a few children in the audience. It should be left up to the parents not the theater if the production is suitable for there child. However the actors displayed very good musical ability.

the show was great, Singing, acting, staging, etc. We had two 13-year old grandchildren with us and for their benefit you could have left out the naked guys running across the stage and the strong emphasis on the coconut bra. But that would be our only question marks.

Overall this was a great experience and a lot of fun. I don't necessarily think that the characters were well developed, and there were a few moments of "where the heck did that come from?" This is not a fast paced and exciting play, and there were definately moments that dragged. Overall a good time though.

    last show of South Pacific

by grammakitty on 2/28/12Cadillac Palace - Chicago

opening set was great, really set the tone; the singing was excellent; the storyline seemed relevant and meaningful. This is an old fashioned musical, with great music, but it succeeded in not being outdated.
