I have wanted to attend a Rollergirls Derby match in person for quite awhile - ever since I saw my first match on TV many, many, (many) years ago. Without a banked track, however, the action lacked the athleticism of the past as I remember it (although of course some of the action was staged back then those many years ago). Today's action is not really an athletic competition but I did enjoy attending the event at the Fillmore Auditorium this past Saturday - a fun time for both participants and spectators alike.
