Rockwave Tickets

It was hot outside and there was no seating, but the bands made it worth it. All of them put on a great performance and 96K Rock out did themselves. Even at the end of the night when your feet were hurting you, Jane's Addiction had the most spectacles with their ladies and their performance. It was great to see that each band was interactive with the audience!! The band that got everything going was definitely Filter, they rocked that place and got the crowd going wild. I would definitely go to this again.

One of the best rock concerts I have been to yet. Can not wait til next year to see if 96Krock can out beat this one. It is about time rock music made its way here. Filter out did themselves and Amberlin take a bow cause you guys totally rock. Was not too impress with STP but it will have to getting some use to.

The bands sucked except Chevelle. They are better than a 3rd billing and a 1 hour time slot. All the drug addicts and alcoholics showed up. Florida has not learned it lesson that being in the national news is not a good thing. What a disgrace for 96.1. 93.7 is still the best. Chevelle was the best band there and most people wen't there to see any band. They were there to get wasted and feed their negative habit. If that is why you have these, i'll never go again. In fact, i'll never go again anyway. Start selling out Germain Arena. That continues to be an untaped resource. KROCK, swing and a miss.

There was only 1 stage and we had to wait for set up 30 minutes or more between the sets. Normally, at festivals, there are 2 or more stages and music is seamless. It was a hot day and the only water available was $3 a bottle! This venue does not provide any shade whatsoever, so people need water. There should have been a free water station or fountain at least. These festivals make a lot of money - some heavy-duty blowers/fans to the sides of the stage would have been nice for festival goers. Food and drinks were seriously overpriced: a corndog with a few fries was $10! Sodas $3. Also, what happened to Beware of Darkness? They were billed to play until 1 day prior to festival. Part of our attendance (and we bought 8 tix!) was to see them! Very disappointed they were not there. Have been to many festivals before where there was free water, medic stations with free gatorade for those who needed it and shade.

Had a really good time at Rockwave with only a few complaints. FILTER! Oh where do I start? After every song he went on and on about this being there year, and he better win a Grammy this year. Talked about being an Atheist and not believing in God. Talked about how he used to be in NIN (then waited for applause), where Trent was the boss, but "now he's the boss, he is the boss." Talk about insulting to your fellow band mates. I've never heard a more self inflated ass hat in my life. Between every song he did this!! Chevelle was good, and STP & Jane's Addiction were of course good. All of them rocked out! The parking was $15 which I thought was kind of expensive, though typical, yet it was very organized. Quick to get in, and quick to get out. No long lines. There were plenty of beer tents, which made waiting in line short. The food vendors were a rip off!! $10.00 for a crappy steak and cheese sandwich, and that was at the end of the night when no one was even still getting food. Probably why they were the only tent that was still open with food still available. You'd think they would have been trying to get rid of it. Overall it was an awesome time. We were able to get close to the stage multiple times and get some great pictures. The crowd was really good too. No fights, no problems, everyone there just to have a good time.

The entire event was well organized, no long lines to wait in, plenty of facilities, food and drink to go around. The bands were all very good and fun to watch. Stone Temple Pilots and Jane's Addiction lived up to the expected experience. I would do this again and recommend it to anyone I know.

great event there should be more of these, Stp and FIlter were great Jane's addiction good, Chevelle good didn't see other bands. more variety of food at more reasonable prices would have been good

Anberlin was awesome. They were my favorite group next to Stone Temple Pilots with Chester. Chevelle was great too. It was nice to see Filter perform except when then lead singer had to open his mouth and share his disbelief on God and bash our former president. Over all, everyone played great. I will defiantly go back next year.

Overall great concert. I was disappointed with stone temple pilots but james addiction made up for it! Chevelle was pretty good too.
