    Great show but patience required!

by gthek on 3/23/11Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - Cleveland

This year's show boasted some great talent (from Llyod Price to Neil Diamond) but the clumsiness of the production left a great deal to be desired. What on earth took so lond to set up the stage between events? Nice to finally hear uncensored comments though (unlike previous years)!

    Neil Diamond stole the show!

by Swtsoulsister1 on 3/17/11Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - Cleveland

Being able to watch the simulcast live at the Rock Hall was almost as good as being in NYC! All the exhibits were open for us to view and we were still able to watch the simulcast. One problem though was the limited seating and since it was a mostly older crowd, I think the museum should consider adding a few more seats in the future. Also, it would have been nice to get a cup of coffee, but it was not available- only soda, water and alcohol.

    Simulcast was great

by ANewFan4U on 3/17/11Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - Cleveland

It is truly sad that our society does not want this type of event televised for all to watch. Paying homage to those who have made the trek through time instead of wanting to only be a one hit wonder. These persons MADE what music is, while the industry has ruined it for us.

Rock / Roll Hall of Fame 2011 Induction Simulcast

by Rowland63 on 3/16/11Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - Cleveland

Excellent evening. Cleveland's Rock Hall is a great facility. It was a pleasure to tour it prior to the simulcast of the events in New York. Looking forward to Cleveland hosting the 2012 induction ceremonies.

    2011 INDUCTION SIMULCAST

by MUNDCARS on 3/16/11Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - Cleveland

The Hall of fame and Museum missed the boat in my opinion. It's no wonder New York balks so much when we clamour to have it here. Very pedestrian. They set up stations to ask for new members. Zip for charter members. Couldn't have cared less that charter members were even there. It resembled a ghost town outside the hall - coming and going. No excitement - no NOTHING!!!! The ceremony itself in New York dragged on way too long. We left at 1:00 AM and Neil Diamond hadn't appeared for his set. Don't know if they had a jam at the end or not. It would have been very cool to hear Alice and Neil together singing their greatest hits with Darlene Love, D. John and Leon contributing. No such luck.
