About

Robert Duchaine is a surly misanthrope. His sarcastic social commentary pokes fun at a myriad of topics including race, religion, and relationships.
He's been kicked out of every organization he was ever forced to join, from the Cub Scouts to the U.S. Army, and fired from every job he ever finagled. Robert finally found a refuge where he can make his own rules - the stand-up comedy stage.
Now an established national touring headliner, Robert performs regularly in Las Vegas show rooms, colleges, comedy clubs and concert venues. Duchaine is also involved in avant-garde theater and independent film. Robert's unique perspective fuels an act that pushes the envelope. Duchaine is candid, entertaining, and always hilarious!

"Duchaine is confident and relaxed in the grip of hostility."

    TOO FUNNY!

by CCSkin on 10/19/15Flappers - Burbank

I saw Robert in LA and we really had a great time.....we laughed so hard the entire time he was on stage. We took friends with us and they keep asking when he is performing again. . Unlike others, he has prepared work and doesn't use the audience for laughs unless they are obnoxious! My husband bought his CD and we listen to it over and over and he is always playing it for friends when they visit. I am sad to see he will be in SF, good for people there but we will have to tell friends in the bay area to go and see him. I can't wait for him to perform again......this time maybe in Phoenix since I am in Phoenix more than LA these day. Robert is the BEST....if you want a good laugh do NOT miss his show.

Every year Robert comes to the San Francisco Punchline, and every year I go and see him. I laugh so hard that I cry. He always has new jokes which is great BUT his old jokes are classics!!! "Pitter patter of little feet Ha Ha Ha! I always bring friends and they always have a great time!

    Non-Stop Funny

    by MannyM1974 on 10/13/15Punch Line - Sacramento

I laughed at every bit. Duchaine offers a no-holds-barred, offbeat, wry view of the world that spares no one--least of all himself. Funny, funny, funny. Treat yourself. I'm glad I did.

Duchaine is one of a kind!

by Ande101 on 10/12/15The Laugh Factory - Los Angeles

I could watch or listen to Robert Duchaine over and over again, and I don't laugh out loud so easily. I even bought his CD and I'm cheap. I wanted to share it with friends. Everything he talks about is totally relate-able, from his screwed up relationships, to his view on life in general. He's a comic you don't want to miss.

Don't waist your time and money seeing him

by JohnON on 12/14/14Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San Francisco

He was horrible - a dried up, pathetic and sexist pig. Not only were his jokes sexist, his humor was uncreative and dead. Worse, his show was so old that it was the same content from a show I saw of his on YouTube - March 16 @ the Imrov in Los Angeles.
