Robert Davi proved to be a very entertaining "tough guy". He had a deep and powerful voice that did justice to his selections from the Great American Songbook, (Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer, Harold Arlen, etc.). The sextet of musicians backing him up were as good as I have seen anywhere and his anecdotal stories of his life, Sinatra's life and America were entertaining and well received. He was also successful in interacting with the audience in a way as to make you feel that he was a friend of the family or someone that you grew up with. Nice guy, good singer, entertaining performer - fun evening.
