What an amazing show - and a beautiful venue!

by Gary on 11/3/21Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center - Chester

The Sugar Loaf PAC was such an intimate venue to see a show like this. We will definitely be back. The three bands were just incredible. And what a treat to see Vanilla Fudge jam with Robby.

    Always a great performance

by S. P. on 11/2/21Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center - Chester

Loved the intimacy of sugarloaf. All the bands performed and sounded amazing! Rather go to a smaller venue than a huge place! Seats were fantastic and had an amazing time!

    Just like seeing The Doors.

by bellyflopper on 2/21/17Neptune Theatre - Seattle

From the first note to the last note, it was a truly incredible show, to see a rock icon perform in a small theater. I was waiting for a dull song so as to go to the john, but he didn't do any! Every song was a gem.

    Simply incredible.

by bellyflopper on 2/19/17Neptune Theatre - Seattle

Robby and his band just rocked the house, playing all Doors music. It was just like seeing The Doors in the 60s.

    Felt like a time warp..

    by Bman333SP on 2/18/17Neptune Theatre - Seattle

Robbie was at the top of his game...songs sounded like a remastered version of the original. The band was solid and did the Doors justice...Waylon was respectful and solid?..but did not quite hit the high screams. Robbie is an American treasure....do not pass up this opportunity to see him...you will regret it.

    Robby Krieger Kicks it

by rpangallo on 2/18/17Neptune Theatre - Seattle

The concert was one of the best I have been to as it meant SO MUCH to me. Robby Krieger likely does not need to be out there performing, but you can tell his love of it plus it really was probably the most rewarding concert I have ever been to, and I have been to over 100 concerts throughout the years. The Doors music which was featured due to the 50 year anniversary of the Doors, was performed wonderfully. The impact the Doors had on the music scene was at a time in our society that was going through many changes, and the Doors brought it them along with their "Legendary" moments while touring. Go see the Robby Krieger Band, it was worth every single second

    Robby Krieger Band was fantastic!

by dswneptune on 2/18/17Neptune Theatre - Seattle

50th anniversary of the doors was exceptional, Robby was still an amazing talent. his son Waylon on vocals for Jim did a great job, but he didn't try to be Jim, as no one can. Backup band was great and did not disappoint the fans. So grateful that Robby did this for all of us doors die hard fans! Neptune is my favorite small band venue, seating and acoustics are wonderful!

While all the musicians were excllent, Robby Krieger's guitar stole the show. The classic Door's songs came alive again. In my opinion, the guitar solo in the middle of Light My Fire has always been the weakest part of the song. This time, the extended guitar part was the best part. It's too bad Robby's son couldn't quite handle Jim Morrison's parts.

    Mixed

I commented more fully on Robby Krieger's Facebook page, I think it was, the day after the concert. Bottom line. Would have liked more singing by Waylon Krieger and less instrumental. Show needs some polish. Would be nice if the band members dressed better. Waylon's baggy jeans were a turnoff even though liked his singing and the sunglasses very much.
