Robben Ford always puts on an outstanding show!

    by M. M. on 5/6/19Sony Hall - New York

First time at Sony Hall, great space to see a show! Robben and his new band were really great. Jeff McErlain, the second guitarist and Robben's right hand man was awesome.

    disapointed!

by crzysb on 10/7/18Uptown Theatre Napa - Napa

in what turned out to be the low point of a great weekend,we were shocked.to start with the concert only lasted less than 90 minutes,by far the shortest we've ever been to.then there was the music or should we say lack there of,namely robben ford.we really like his voice and music, which is what we thought we we're going to hear and paid for.instead we had to listen to somebody we didn't know of, or really care for, bummer.we really left feeling ripped off,and will never waist our time on him again.thanks for letting us vent, c&s

    Robben Ford Was To Loud

by 6stringsklk on 9/27/18Uptown Theatre Napa - Napa

Sorry to say the Robben Ford's stage volume from his guitar amplifier was way to loud. I've seen other rock acts at the Uptown Theater in Napa even Jeff Beck wasn't as loud and piercing. There was nothing the front of house sound engineer could do to bring Ford's volume down. The songs were great but it was so loud at times I had to put my fingers in my ears. Another sad things is I took a friend so he could hear the incredible sound system at the the Uptown but again Ford's volume over ran the P. A. system. I was glad it was only a ninety minute show.

Robben Ford is a Living Legend.

by Charlie42 on 9/25/18Uptown Theatre Napa - Napa

Robben and his band were fantastic. Great mix of Blues, Jazz and Rock. I had forgotten what a great singer he was, since I saw him last in LA about 40 years ago.

went for blues but got jazz

by Anonymous on 9/25/18Uptown Theatre Napa - Napa

Very disappointed. This show was introducing some one else.It was a short show about an hour. I drove five hours from Navada to see a great blues player not a new jazz player.I wont take that chance again. No more Robin Ford for me.

Wanted to hear Robben Ford do some cool jazz!

by DonnaSanDiego on 10/17/17Humphreys Backstage Live - San Diego

I know Robben Ford mostly from his great guitar playing, mostly through jazz. This was a HORRIBLY LOUD ROCK CONCERT, and I didn't even particularly care for it as rock and roll. Well, I recently saw U2, so I guess that's a hard act to follow! As I told one of the bartenders (I sat at the bar), I actually enjoyed talking with him more than I enjoyed the concert!

    Intimate

by Axemanjt on 5/18/17Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino Bears Den - Niagara Falls

Bears den at Seneca Niagara casino is great small intimate atmosphere.....you could hear robben talking on stage without the mic, as if he was playin in my living room. Robben and his band were fantastic as expected. As a musician myself I can appreciate the small nuances as well as the outstanding musicianship. Can't wait to see them again down the road.

    international mix of talent

    by Hwy61MissMud on 4/28/16Birchmere - Alexandria

Ford was the main draw for me. Had missed his solo act on a couple of occasions in '15 and didn't want to pass on this unique tour. I honestly don't know a lot about Parnell and Robinson, so this show was a very pleasant surprise! These guys were entertaining and admirable with their individual performances. But when they came out to play together, I needed seat belts AND an air bag! They were so tight, as if they had toured together for years. One amazing talent from Down Under, one veteran guitarist from the Left Coast and a smooth slide master bluesman from Texas... a very unique trio that worked fine, for me. I was so 'high' after their awesome jam session, I wasn't fit to drive for a while! I'd give my right what-ever to have a nice audio recording of that session to enjoy again, and again, and...
