RIXTON IN CONCERT:
The boy band tradition is alive and well with Rixton, a talented British foursome who are shaking up the pop charts with catchy singles like "Me and My Broken Heart". Rixton's buoyant sound is perfectly suited to their live shows where upbeat acoustic guitar, punchy drums, and the starry-eyed vocals of lead singer Jake Roche combine to create an infectious party atmosphere. Whether the band is waxing emotional on "Appreciated" or encouraging fans to sing along to the anthemic "Make Out", Rixton hits all the right notes on their must-see tours.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
London-based Rixton formed in 2012 after lead singer Jake Roche and bassist Danny Wilkin graduated from high school and began writing music together. After adding guitarist Charley Bagnall and drummer Lewis Morgan, the group rose to internet fame with a series of popular covers posted on YouTube. The band made their official debut in 2014 with the EP Me and My Broken Heart, which landed on charts in the US, Australia, and Sweden with its hook-laden title track. Since then the group has opened for top acts like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, demonstrating considerable performance chops that have ticket buyers eagerly awaiting their next shows.
