There was an artist that didn’t show up and I guess you got a replacement but that artist got on stage and told the whole audience he was “tired”. We were tired of standing there sooooooo, I didn’t get it. I wish there was a bigger announcement made that Goldlink wouldn’t be performing. Luckily cheat codes kind of made up for goldlink performance.
Had a little something for everyone there. The lighting and sound was incredible for a pop up stage and the atmosphere was intoxicating. Gucci Mane and DNCE gave wonderful performances. Would love to go again.
I found this event to be rather disappointing. I booked the tickets for this event a few months in advance, when there were no times listed for the performances. I check back closer and the bands are to perform in the evening. I assumed (wrong on my end) the artists would be performing during the day, and I had to re arrange my schedule. Then, when I arrived for the event, I was told my purse was too big. My purse was a crossbody small handbag, and I had NOT received ANY information regarding bag restrictions prior to the event. I would think if you would be rejecting people from entering, this information would have been communicated prior to the event, via email or with the ticket delivery , etc. I was very upset that I could not enter the concert. Not only that, there were other girls being let in with bags the same size as mine. Very upsetting. I asked the ladies at the gate what should I do with my purse and they said to leave it in my car. I took an uber to the concert so this was not an option. If you are going to turn people away for having a bag too large, at least have a solution for them. Perhaps a locker or something. Lastly, I was able to attend the concert the following night and was not impressed with the artists that performed. The whole event was a bust for me, and a total waste of money. I would not attend this event again.
Speakers were busted and you could tell when they cut out taking a lot away from the performance. Some artists just rapped over their music being played by the main DJ on stage. The main DJ kept telling the crowd to 'scoot back' in between songs which really hindered musical flow. Decent venue but was poorly executed.
