The circus was amazing. However, it was MUCH smaller than I had expected. There were no cats (lions and tigers). My 11 year old was not too impressed. In fact, I think I enjoyed it better. I don't feel there was a need to get close seats, for we could have seen everything just as good in any seat.
Took my 9 year old daughter and wife to the circus for the first time. I went several times as a kid at Madison Square Garden in N.Y. and always loved it... especially the cats with Gunther Gable Williams. Circus was big and exciting. This is not that circus. No cats, no flying trapeze, was boring, small, not the "Greatest Show On Earth" that I had told my daughter and wife to expect. I was going to call to complain about it, but call who? Website showed a different event than I went to. Any picture or thought of lions or tigers is false advertising. Don't bother going to this.
This is year 2 that we went to the circus in West Palm Beach. Last year we went on the last day and there wasn't anything 'holiday' about it. We thought the circus would have a holiday theme with the name "Super Circus Holiday". We decided to try again this year, but still nothing holiday. Even the advertisement shows the elephant in a Santa hat. The only Santa hats we saw were worn by the concession sales folks. Also it is only 1 ring so there are long skits in between each act. If you like the big 3 ring act this won't impress you. And if you expect a holiday theme you will be disappointed. On a positive note, the seats are good no matter where you sit since the revenue is so small.
The Circus was great! My 5 year old granddaughter was totally entertained. The seating chart for purchasing tickets was NOT clear and I would have preferred better seats. Fortunately, she's never been to a circus and didn't know the difference. There were MANY acrobatic type acts which were very entertaining. Contrary to the advertising, there were no lions or tigers. The elephants, horses, camels(!) and dogs were are fun to watch. Apparently, you can go 1 hour prior to the show and "meet" the elephants-why wasn't this advertised? All in all, a good experience and yes, I'd take her again!
The Super Hero theme was strange and what do Chinese Shaolin dancers have to with the circus? No trapeze, No tigers or lions, not even any traditional clowns. Very disappointed, was hoping my 5-year old daughter had a memorable experience as I did going to the circus as a youngster. The additional charge for parking and the $12 cotton candy didn't help with this negative experience. Save your money!
It's like the real circus but in miniature! You'll sit close for not much cash. Note that this is the GOLD show and not the RED or BLUE "full" circus three-ring shows. But mostly everything is still here: elephants (only three), globe of death (four riders rather than seven). No tigers, lions, etc. The overarching story ("Mr. Boredom") is cute and actually better than most. Some fun and really different acts that will hopefully make it up to the big show, such as the two strong guys or the acrobatic roller-skaters and a couple that probably need to be cut (women with green laser accompaniment) . You will be close to the action for a fraction of the price of the full circus, so definitely GO!
I have attended the Holiday Show in West Palm Beach for the past 30 years.. Now have a 9 year old Daughter and we are keeping the Family Tradition this was her 3rd year!! This was one of the BEST SHOWS EVER!!!! Thank you for keeping it exciting :) SEE YA NEXT YEAR
There was no trapeze people no lions only one ring, nothing like it was when I was growing up, will never go again, only 2 clowns
Saw the Circus at the Palm Beach Convention Center. To sum it up, Awful and Disappointing! Prices charged for event were higher than offered at every other Circus venue!. How do you have a circus with NO CLOWNS!!! Did not have certain acts appear that will be performing at other venues! No children pricing for tickets that are being offered at every other venue!
Every act was so great except the ponies and dogs who looked so sad. I really did enjoy the rest of the circus!! Its a great event I just wish it would have lasted longer. You leave wanting more!!!
