I have seen 2 Circus events since this one 8 months ago (picadilly's and shriners) neither even compared to this one! My 21/2 yr old daughter loved it, and I stayed entertained too! We will only be seeing 1 circus a year for now on and this will be the one hands down the best around!

This has to be April Fool's!!!!!!!!!

by sarkgrl on 4/2/11civic center asheville - asheville

You have to be kidding me. What the heck was this? My son asked me for two hours when the animals were coming--they did--all six house cats, seven dogs and three big elephants. That's it folks. The acts were long and my children were so bored--the people fell a lot and didnt make their landings. I actually was in fear for their lives at times. It was not fun and a terrible experience. What a waste of money, energy, and time. I hate building kids up for something and have it not come to surface.house cats? Are you joking????

    Disappointed

by Okami2006 on 3/27/11Illuscination Ringling brother's and Barnum and Bailey - Huntington

I had take my daughter the Ringling Brother's Barnum and Bailey Circus when she was a child about 10 years ago. I was when it was called the "greatest show on earth" and truly was. It was then a 3 ring circus and tons of clowns, elephants, and things that make a circus. I recently took my 2 year old to see this and was bored out of my mind through the whole show. There was one ring, i think 2 elephants, and maybe 2-3 clowns. Normal house cats had probably a 15 min act and I was ready to fall asleep. I have never been so disappointed in a circus before. The tickets were way over priced for what we got. Based on this last experience I will never go back and would not recommend it to anyone. For the price your much better off going to just a small local circus like Schriner's and at least the proceeds go for a good cause there.

It was ok. not as good as other tours of the circus. Need better trainers for animal shows. I enjoyed the acrobats only.

    Circus was very disappointing!!

by Anonymous on 12/15/10FedExForum - Memphis

REALLY disappointing! When we got there they had changed our seats, as well as many others. Once we got inside we realized why....they were only using about 1/4 of the entire forum! It was a very small portion of the arena that was used...only 1 ring instead of the usual 3 ring circus from the past. Very small scale stunts and acrobatics. It was more like a really bad musical! It probably lost the younger kids attention and the older kids were disappointed because they knew what it was SUPPOSE to be like from previous circus events. Definately NOT worth the money!

    Great show for kids

by Thatoldgranny on 12/15/10FedExForum - Memphis

Ideal circus for familes with preschool to preteen kids Show had enough excitement to keep adults interested but was not overwhelming to young children. The kids loved the preshow activities with the performers. VIP seats were worth the investment. Concessions, however, were very, very expensive.

    disapponting

    by 1View on 12/15/10FedExForum - Memphis

Acrobats fair to good, others lack luster. Several cats & dogs looked afraid of their handlers, not like they enjoyed performing. Lions looked to be in good physical shape. Elephants skin didn't look healthy & the male handler had a barbed cane in use on them. This was definitely our last circus.

    Ringline Bros Circus was boring!

    by CBA2001 on 12/15/10FedExForum - Memphis

I guess I went in with unrealistic expectations. My memories of the circus were of trapeze artists who swung boldly through the air, leaping from bar to bar, not one guy on a trapeze just swinging and hanging a little bit. Pretty disappointing. The area for the trapeze seemed very small compared to what I remember from the past with several nets below. Also, the tiger act was not much, either. I guess I should have been excited that they were there, but it just didn't seem interesting enough. Some of the acts were just dumb and I don't mean just the clowns. The cats and dogs were ok, but I guess I was surprised to see them as part of a circus anyway. There wasn't any fire eating or anything that was breathtaking in the least.
