Animal are not for entertainment purposes!!

    by Taj on 3/25/24

All those people who think circus is for animals - then you are wrong!! if you really want to animals then look yourself in mirror and you'll see one? Animals life are not for entertainment purposes! Thank you appreciate all your business for not bringing in animals for shows or business purposes!! As it you are eating them? isnt that enough? now that you think you are one of those animals as well!!

    Awesome show!

    by Jessica on 1/16/24

I wanted to write a review because we hesitated to go based on other reviews. We decided to give it a shot and so glad we did! I don’t understand people complaining that the show does no longer have animals. That is a good thing. The first half of the show (1 hour) was slower than the second half (another hour). The second half was definitely more entertaining and left you mouth wide open. I have gone to Cirque du Solei and these acts were more daring (on the second half) it is definitely not a “traditional circus” but that is not what were were looking for. I can say that I actually liked this show more than Cirque du Solei. Such a wonderful experience and memory we will cherish.

    BRING BACK THE ANIMALS!!!!

    by S. H. on 11/5/23

I’ve been going to this show since I was a kid and my favorite part was always the animals. I took my niece to experience the circus for the first time and she was disappointed not to see any animals there. There were also no clowns. The show was just ok and I don’t think I’ll be going to any future shows.

    Phenomenal

    by Edward K on 10/22/23

Tremendous show I had a bit of apprehension in buying tickets for this rendition of the Ringling Brothers Circus. Even though it has been a tradition in my family, I wasn’t sure what we’d get without animals being present Happily, I can report this is a phenomenal production, a show that features talented performers from all over the world The show is seamless and flows over the customary three rings. There are a few musical interludes where animal acts perhaps once were But I didn’t miss the animals, nor did my grandsons, who sat in awe I know some are saying. “it’s not a circus”. Bollocks. It’s a couple hours of great entertainment for the entire family. Maybe animals were never needed to begin with

    better late than never

by hawkeyegrad on 2/26/18Allstate Arena - Rosemont, IL

It might be surprising to some how long it took me to see the circus, I was in my 20s when I saw it for the first time, in 2002. Better late than never I guess. Not sure why my parents didn't take me when I was young, that is usually when somebody makes their first visit. Loved getting a free photo before the show on top of a fake elephant, a nice way of remembering the show. I also liked getting a program there, so much to read in it about the history of the circus. I had read about PT Barnum in college, his auto-bio. I later saw the Shrine Circus at a different venue. I noticed there were animal rights protesters outside the venue, I said it was my choice to go and theirs not to.

    What did we see?

by Gryphandor on 5/4/14Boardwalk Hall - Atlantic City

Hero Circus? I mean really! It was some form of a horrible joke. Then I noticed how empty the seats where and realized why. I have 4 kids. Ages from 7 to 14 and not a single one of them enjoyed the show. It just didn't feel like a circus. Felt more like I was catching a show at Great Adventure only most of those shows are better. Maybe the circus is changing to try and keep up with the times and just not realizing they have lost site of why people love the circus. Why people go to the circus. After this show I will not go back. Not until I know they have returned to their roots because this show doesn't have the right to call itself the greatest show on earth anymore. It is like Skittles still calling themselves original even though lime is now green apple. It is no longer original. This show is no longer great. There are far better ways to spend your time and money. I do not recommend this to anyone.
