Lively and fun...Musicians were extremely talentes
This energizing performance had me clapping and stomping for more!!! An amazing job done by all!
This show was amazing! Loved it all; great music, talented performers; wonderful experience overall.
Outstanding performance. When it was over, we realized it was local talent. That made it even more incredible. We traveled 65 miles to see it and it was more than worth it.
Show was enjoyable and well done!! Performers were incredibly talented. Learned a few new things about Johnny Cash.
Over a decade ago I saw Ring of Fire and loved it. 5 stars, it was amazing. Instead of heading off to Nashville, it went to NYC and flopped. Thinking it should be altered, the producers (or someone), changed it up and brought it back. Instead of 3 people playing Johnny Cash and 3 playing June (the first version had a young, middle aged and older Johnny and June who looked and sounded just like them), the new production has 4 men and 3 women singing the same songs as the original. If you never saw the first one, you would probably like this - although at times it reminded me of good kareoke. Don't get me wrong, these performers can definitely sing, they just don't always sound like Johnny and June. I did not let the couple in the row behind us, who talked loudly throughout the performance- and even sang 2 seconds ahead of the performers, influence my review.
Very enjoyable. Went with 2 teenage boys and they feel the same. Performers have a lot of talent.
I've attended many musical, plays, and concerts, and this event was very unique. Eight local and supremely talented musician/actors performed many selections of music that was written by or that influenced Johnny Cash. There was occasional dialog highlighting a moment of Cash's life, but most of the show was music. It was a high-energy, engaging show with never a dull moment. The performers moved around often, changing places - and instruments - alternately standing, sitting, walking, or lounging around the multi-dimensional set. Their costumes were outfits representative of Cash's era. After the show, there was an informative question-and-answer period, that was only offered a couple of times during the run. The venue is excellent, there isn't a bad seat in the house The sound level was good, I didn't need to use my earplugs!
The show was great.. The singer where awsome..The Q&A at the end of the show was a great. It was full of alot of information
