About

RIFF RAFF IN CONCERT:

Although new to the rap game, Texas-based freestyler Riff Raff has already made a name for himself with his intricate cornrows and swagged-out style. At his live shows the eccentric rapper flaunts his signature look as he moves around the stage, spitting hits like "Real Boyz" and  "Dolce and Gabbana" as the audience gets their twerk on. Back on the road, Riff Raff and his entourage will treat fans to an exciting string of tour dates in support of his sophomore album Neon Icon.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Horst Christian Simco got his start under the stage name Riff Raff, recording his flows and passing out demos in Houston malls. Influenced at the time by other rising hip-hop artists Chamillionaire and Slim Thug, he started sporting gold-plated grills and long cornrows, buliding a reputation as a style maverick that has played a major role in his breakout success. His debut album The Golden Age was released in 2012, and led to collaborations with Skrillex, Diplo, and Action Bronson. Riff Raff will have fans hyped on his expressive rhymes and infectious energy as he heads out for his upcoming shows.

    Holy opening acts

by Rifftothestars on 12/13/21H-MAC Stage on Herr - Harrisburg

It was partly my fault for getting there when the doors opened but a parade of open acts killed my mood for riff raff. Only 2 of these acts were palatable and when riff went on 4.5 hours later I couldn’t make it through after waiting all that time. Want to see him again but not like this

    Super Fun! (Tulsa, Oklahoma)

    by j.fitz on 2/20/20

RiFF put on a great 45 minute show, good energy, played plenty of classics and some new bangers. Good energy. 10/10 would pay 20$ to rage with RiFF again!

    Riff Raff was.... Okay

by Codeineking420 on 8/24/16Brighton Music Hall - Boston

The show was overall good minus the fact that he did around 5 of his own songs. He was basically a hype man for all these other artists that had already performed. The show ended 10 minutes early due to the smoke alarms going off. Nonetheless, it was a surreal experience because I'm a huge fan. If you are a fan of Riff Raff I recommend at least going to one show.

    G.O.A.T

by RecklessCassipea on 8/11/16Center Stage Theater - Atlanta

I had an amazing time. On the way out my friends and I were blessed with "I'm with the band" passes. We got to meet Riff Raff, got an autographed Pink Panther shirt and took pictures with him.

Opening acts and the DJ really made this suck

by Supbrah6969 on 8/9/16Center Stage Theater - Atlanta

The opening acts suck, horribly!!! The worst part was the DJ. From the time RiFF RaFF took the stage til he got off the stage, the DJ must have blasted the Miami DJ Air Horn at least a thousand times... I am not kidding, 1000 times! It got so bad, it was a running joke through the whole show. There was this one angry guy who was on stage who kept on flinging water around because he was so fire. Several times, he got the DJ's equipment all wet, I wish he would have fried the DJ's air horn button.

    RiFF RAFF!!!

by RiFFRAFFGiRL on 7/29/16The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

This show was awesome. Honestly, Riff Raff deserves more credit for his shows. Truly unforgettable. The only problem I had was that the doors opened at 8, but everyone was waiting inside for an hour and a half to almost two hours before anyone came out. But other than that, it was fantastic. I'll be going again for sure!

    Utterly Disappointing

by Lecarpetron on 7/19/15Brighton Music Hall - Boston

RiFF RAFF didn't even meet my incredibly low expectations for the show. He came out over an hour late. His "DJ" kept interrupting with shouts about us all going to the back to buy merch and meet&greet tickets. RiFF's mic wasn't off, but it was definitely turned super low for most of the songs. He played CD versions of his own tracks and let the recorded vocals play through. He rapped some of the words but skipped a majority. On some songs, he didn't even put the mic up to his face - he just danced around as his track played. I am not surprised by these antics. He really had potential to put on a great show though, and that is very disappointing. Was it worth $20? Maybe. Certainly not for the performance. But maybe just for the fact that I can tell my friends that I've seen RiFF RAFF now.
