Richard III - A Bloody Good Time!
by HoratioW on 8/9/09Ewing Manor - NormalMy first time seeing this play and I enjoyed it! I had just read the play in preparation to seeing the performance. As nearly always, the staging and characterizations were far different from my imagination in the reading. Amused and intrigued are my responses to seeing how it is performed and staged. The actors and actresses did the play justice in my view. Good intensity in the dramatic scenes. The spit was flying and that is always a good sign in Shakespeare written plays. The performance was the last one of this play for the season, and it was full of enthusiastic gusto. Hurrah for all involved!
