This was a great show. The actors/singers had phenomenal voices. I had no idea what to expect with this musical and I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. There were 3 of us and we all felt the same. The song selections were awesome too.
Amazing musical tribute to and story of women throughout several decades.
This show is a must see for both men and women who love musicals. Absolutely fabulous. I just loved all of the interaction with the audience.
This is the second time that I have seen this play, and I will be back to see it again and again! The music was amazing, the performers were energized and wonderful, but most of all the message came through loud and clear - the incredible strength of women! Highly recommend this for women and men of all ages. The Gordon Center was the perfect venue for this musical - intimate and inviting.
This show was absolutely FABULOUS!! Loved it...loved it...loved it. I actually saw the Jersey Boys at the Hippodrone two weeks ago and thought Respect was much better. There was so much energy! Really enjoyed thecharacter backdrops. Choreography was superb! First time @ the Gordon Performing Arts Center and was blown away.
This was my first time to the Gordon Center and what a wonderful place for a show like "Respect". The sound was great, the actress' could not have been any better and I enjoyed every single moment of the entire show.
Years ago, following the premier of a well known Russian composers violin concerto, a reviewer had but single word, WOW! I say WOW!
I went to this show with 3 good lady friends. We all thought the show was wonderful. 1. The 4 women in the show were adorable, great singers, great dancers and fun personalities who put 110% into the performance. 2. It was such an enjoyable way to spend a Sunday afternoon. It was far better than I ever expected. It should be on Broadway. I must get the CD. A+++++++
Both my wife and i would have preferred less talking and more music. The interpretation of most of the songs left something to be desired.
