Legendary Argentine jazz pianist Raul Di Blasio has madelistening easy since his 1983 debut. An inspired performer who speaks of having wings on his fingers, Di Blasio covers a lot of territory at his live shows, treating ticket buyers to his early classics, more recent Brazilian-influenced work, and even a bit of rock and roll from his teenage days playing in a band. Among his select tour dates in 2014 is a night at Los Angeles' historic Greek Theater — a classic setting for a night of classic music.

Born in Argentina in 1949, Di Blasio showed promise on the piano from the age of six. By age 20, he had moved from his small hometown of Zapala to Buenos Aires, where he began practicing the piano 12 hours a day. Following his 1983 debut on EMI-Chile, Di Blasio's star steadily rose throughout South America, with the media often referring to him as "El Pianista de Todos" ("The People's Pianist"). Following a move to Miami in 1987, his global fanbase continued to grow, paving the way for the platinum success of 1994's Piano de America. More than 30 years after his debut, Di Blasio continues to thrill fans around the world with new music and perennial touring.
