About

RATT IN CONCERT:

With big hooks and even bigger hair, legendary LA glam rockers Ratt helped define the sound of the Sunset Strip in the '80s with guitar-driven anthems like "Round and Round." Following several reunion tours in the 2000s, Ratt released Infestation — their first new album in over 10 years — in 2010, and proved they hadn't lost any of their pomp with yet another vigorous tour. Those nostalgic for the days when guitars were literally wielded like axes take note: Ratt returned to the studio in 2013, with select tour dates and plans for an album release in 2014.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

”Ratt rocked it, sounded just as great as when I saw them in the 80's! Loved every minute... Can't wait to see them again!"

"Ratt was a fun and entertaining show, bringing back the old memories of the ‘80s."

"Ratt put on a great show on Friday... I would definitely see them again when they come back around."

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

After cutting their teeth in LA's infamous early-'80s club scene, Ratt made their major label debut in 1984 with Out of the Cellar, a definitive moment of glam metal. Propelled by the dual guitar work of twin leads Robbin Crosby and Warren Demartini, the album landed at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, benefiting from extensive MTV airplay of the band's glammed up music videos. Over the years Ratt have toured extensively, sharing the stage with fellow metal icons including Mötley Crüe, Iron Maiden, and Sebastian Bach.

I saw Bon Jovi (7800 Fahrenheit) open for RATT in Rapid City, SD, on 1985 tour (Invasion of Your Privacy). They’re one of my favorite bands of all time! They tour, I go and take my daughter to another 80’s rock legend concert!!!

    Ratt n Roll

by M. L. on 1/7/20The Fillmore Detroit presented by Cricket Wireless - Detroit

They rocked. Warren DeMartini was missed so not quite as good as years past. Still kicked butt.

The Fillmore Detroit is without a doubt my favorite venue in Detroit. Every seat is great. Ratt sounded great and played all their most popular songs. Had a great time.

    80s Rock Band Still Jams

by D. on 12/31/19The Fillmore Detroit presented by Cricket Wireless - Detroit

Stephen still sounds amazing and Juan's energy is that of a 20 year old rocker. The young guitar talent has the songs down and they even have similar on stage personalities to Robin and Warren. Great show!

    Ratt and Roll Lives On!

by 80’s Rock Rules on 12/31/19The Fillmore Detroit presented by Cricket Wireless - Detroit

The opening acts were locals, but pretty good. The headliner, RATT, sounded great! There were only two original members. A fight broke out in the pit, nice touch! We arrived a few minutes early. The venue didn’t open the doors until the posted time. We didn’t appreciate standing out in the December cold weather. There was plenty of space in the front commons area, it would have been nice of them to let us in, probably would have bought more merchandise. Plenty of concessions, food was good and the security inside the venue was helpful and friendly.

    Great Concert. Highly Recommended.

by jkrus10414 on 12/31/19The Fillmore Detroit presented by Cricket Wireless - Detroit

Steve Pearcy and the rest of the current band sounded really good. I would definitely recommend anyone to go see RATT. The entire set included all of the familiar classics taken from RATT's first five (5) albums. They even played the classic Aerosmith track that was recorded on RATT's self-titled EP released in 1983. Since the early 1990's, Steve Pearcy has been in and out of RATT. In the recent past, it has been known that RATT tours without Steve. As a result, when RATT comes to town, the first question that every fan asks is "Is Steve Pearcy going to be singing for them?". I think the promoter should make a better and clearer effort in stating that Steve Pearcy will be singing within upcoming shows.
