RATT IN CONCERT:
With big hooks and even bigger hair, legendary LA glam rockers Ratt helped define the sound of the Sunset Strip in the '80s with guitar-driven anthems like "Round and Round." Following several reunion tours in the 2000s, Ratt released Infestation — their first new album in over 10 years — in 2010, and proved they hadn't lost any of their pomp with yet another vigorous tour. Those nostalgic for the days when guitars were literally wielded like axes take note: Ratt returned to the studio in 2013, with select tour dates and plans for an album release in 2014.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
”Ratt rocked it, sounded just as great as when I saw them in the 80's! Loved every minute... Can't wait to see them again!"
"Ratt was a fun and entertaining show, bringing back the old memories of the ‘80s."
"Ratt put on a great show on Friday... I would definitely see them again when they come back around."
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
After cutting their teeth in LA's infamous early-'80s club scene, Ratt made their major label debut in 1984 with Out of the Cellar, a definitive moment of glam metal. Propelled by the dual guitar work of twin leads Robbin Crosby and Warren Demartini, the album landed at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, benefiting from extensive MTV airplay of the band's glammed up music videos. Over the years Ratt have toured extensively, sharing the stage with fellow metal icons including Mötley Crüe, Iron Maiden, and Sebastian Bach.
