My grandson said it best, "This was not Rapunzel!". While adaptations of a story are certainly acceptable, this went far off field. The cultural references were beyond the children in the audience. The actors were talented and sang well, but the story line was not well scripted or developed. Strange and very disappointing.
The LIU Post Tilles Center was the perfect venue, small but plenty of space. Show started on time and was entertaining. Top notch acting and kept the kids engaged. We had a great time - I brought my 3 1/2 year old daughter.
My husband and I really enjoyed the show.....I believe we enjoyed it even more then our Granddaughter!!! Wonderful singing and acting. Loved the satire!
The play was very cute. I would definitely recommend it. Very funny with the hair stylist twist. My daughter age 6 did not understand a lot of the humor but enjoyed Rapunzel.
My daughter, granddaughter and I loved the play. The 3-year-old is usually too squirmy to sit still but she did very well. It kept her attention through whole first act. She napped through the intermission and finished strong. Well done!
It was very entertaining and my five year old and I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it!! The singing and acting was very good. So glad we have a theatre like this in the Ft. Worth area. My daughter is looking so forward to another play/musical at Casa Manana ...
The show was great. I loved the beautiful voices of th actors and actresses. My great granddaughter ( 5 years old) said she loved it and so did her great grandfather. A beautiful little girl in a lavender dress and pretty purple shoes told me I looked "cute" and that made my night. I was amazed at how quiet the theater was with all the young children there. We certainly made some beautiful memories and I hope a lot of other people did too. It was a great story, performed by a very talented cast.
The play was very fun and entertaining. While it was different from the original story, my daughter and I both enjoyed this version.
The production was very good. All the actor were fantastic and sang very well. Our 9 year old daughter really loved and enjoyed herself.
The story was very cute. I enjoyed it very much. I did attend with grandchildren. I appreciate the musical talent of all staff members. I think the children would have enjoyed more if it had been a play instead of a musical. Over all good.
