pumps and punchlines was a flop!

by notfunny22 on 11/18/12Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

This event was a waste of time and money. I went with 5 of my girlfriends, and we left early. We met at least 3 other groups of women that left early as well. The atmosphere was ok, but the show just was not funny. I would recommend watching a few youtube clips of the comedians to make sure you like them. Trust me, it will not be better than the video clips! To each is own.....but this show was not for me, my friends, or the many others I saw leaving the show!

    WASTE OF TIME & MONEY

by Attackmom on 11/18/12Symphony Hall - Springfield

Attended this event with a large group of friend (about 15 of us) ranging in age from 40 and up. My time is valuable to me. I left after the 1st two ladies were done doing whatever the hell one would call it because it was not comedy. If I had stayed I would have surely fallen asleep. I have no idea who in the audience was actually laughing. I think there was a laugh track going somewhere. Symphony Hall in Springfield, MA is not very big but even Sesame Street Live packs the house and the majority of seats for this waste of time were half empty. Stay home and order take out and catch up on whatever is on your DVR.

    Pumps and Punchlines was hysterical!

What a fun night. These women are the bomb. If you want a night to just sit and laugh for a few hours, this is the show to see.

    Terrible

by 3636sml on 11/4/12Rialto Square Theatre - Joliet

The girls in my family (nine of us) bought these tickets two months ago and we were really looking forward to a fun night out. We thought this show sounded great. We were so wrong. There was definitely a reason the theater wasn't even half full. I am no prude, but it was really crude, which wouldn't have been so bad if it had been funny. The first comedian, who was also the emcee, was pretty good . The second comedian was the only really funny one, but she was really hard to hear. I have never written a bad review about any show i've been to but this was a real disapointment. There were so many other shows we could have gone to. Sorry, but i would never recommend this.
