Under appreciated trio continues to impress

by Psycodot on 11/29/12Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

Today's music is stagnant. Leave it to a powerhouse trio to annually provide an escape towards music that is imaginative, original and unforgettable! The psychodots Black Friday show at the Taft covered the local classics, a few Raisins' originals as well as some of Rob Fetter's tasty new tunes. Rob, Chris and Bob are flat out the best musicians I've seen. Their live show is one any true music lover would be fortunate to experience. Next year - give it a shot, these talented locals will not disappoint!

Bob, Chris and Rob radiate energy and talent! George Cunningham as opener was great, too!

    psychodots local favorite

    by trainman2 on 11/25/12Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

the pschodots are a local favorite that has been around for a long time. all members of the raisins and the bears. bob, chris and rob are all excellent musicians but it is really rob fetters who steals the show. his guitar playing is second to none! i mean he really could play with anyone. stood about halfway to the stage and the sound was a little muddy on the bottom end. moved towards the back of the room and the sound was much cleaner. it would have been nice to have a chair to sit in but instead had to stand through the set. i would definitley see them again and i would also recommend seeing them in their other bands mentioned above. i was a little suprised at the smallish crowd really thought their would be more people. their loss i enjoyed their song selection as they played a few i did'nt expect to hear such as king of beers, thin veneer and we never close.
