About

Hip hop and R&B group Pretty Ricky landed on of Power 96's most requested songs ever with the 2005 release of "Grind with Me." Ticket holders describe the typical Pretty Ricky concert as lively and engaging since the group members have a reputation for entertaining the crowd with their synchronized dancing and fluid rapping skills. In addition, Pretty Ricky has held contests during each tour to give fans a chance to win phone calls from group members, VIP seating onstage, and sound-check party passes.

Pretty Ricky's original members included four brothers from Miami: Baby Blue, Spectacular, Pleasure P and Slick'em, with the latter two leaving the group in 2007 and 2009, respectively. As soon as an Atlantic Records executive saw the brothers' talent and local fan base in 2004, the group was signed. Pretty Ricky released its first album, Bluestars, in 2005, which reached No. 16 on the Billboard 200 chart thanks to the popularity of "Grind with Me," "Nothing But a Number" and "Your Body." The next album, Late Night Special, did even better, taking the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart with the help of hit songs "On the Hotline," "Push It Baby" and "Love Like Honey." In 2009, Pretty Ricky released a self-titled album that was largely carried by the popular single "Tipsy (In Dis Club)." Despite disbanding in 2012, the group members of Pretty Ricky have hinted at reunion plans and they were considering working on a fourth album. Fans can only await their comeback, hoping their music is as fierce and exciting as ever.

    Pretty LAZY

    by KeepinIt100 on 11/28/17Howard Theatre - Washington

Doors opened at 7pm show started at 8pm no opening act btw & Pretty Ricky started about 8:30. They did about 2 songs in the beginning then allowed pleasure p to do his solo songs which was ultimately the highlight of the night because he was the only one giving a show! Slick’em sat his pretty lazy butt down for literally half of the show baby blue kept interrupting the show tryin too explain how good he can do sexual things. Sepectular was entertaining i can say he did the choreography and entertained the crowd the music was messing up so they literally sung half the songs on the album half way with no sound but played swagg surf and migos songs like it was their song! i couldnt figure out if i was at a party w/ Pretty Ricky event or a Pretty Ricky likes trap music event lol seriously felt like a comedy show then a concert it’s just not worth the price honestly was disappointing mind you they kept promoting love and hip hop the whole time and the new album when fans want to hear the stuff we grew up on smh pleasure p if you’re reading this get out now & i hate to have to say that.

    Pretty Ricky was good!!

    by Dior87 on 11/28/17Howard Theatre - Washington

The show was fairly good. I wish they would have performed more of their songs verses having Pleasure P sing them acappelle. But overall it was a good show!!

    Late!

    by Shay90 on 11/28/17Howard Theatre - Washington

The doors were supposed to open at 7pm but they opened 15 minutes late. I did not care about that. What upset me was that they were an hour late. The concert was suppose to start at 8pm but they didn't start until 9pm. I was a little upset about that but it was a decent concert.

    Sound System Failure

    by ConcertGoer92 on 11/28/17Howard Theatre - Washington

The show was set to start at 8. Pretty Ricky didn’t come out until 9. They were on stage past 10:15 but here’s where the problem comes in. They only sang their songs for 20-30 mins. Apparently there was something wrong with the sound system and they could only play certain songs after a while. Most of which weren’t Pretty Ricky. And even when they did play their songs they only sang half of it (over top of the record of course). The tickets were cheap so I didn’t request a refund but it was definitely a waste. I don’t know if the DJ was go blame or the venue

These guys didn't even play the show. They decided that the crowd was too small for them and no showed! Unprofessional and totally rude.
