Food good. But infield was empty. Not like past years. Concert starting after preakness is not good idea. Need more up and coming bands. Country and rock. This is not a dj crowd
I've been going to Preakness for 30 years and am always blown away by the poor planning. My seats were on the Apron. Once again the facility had a single large screen TV mounted way off in the infield, making it useless for most patrons. To top that off the TVs inside were either off or tuned to Gulfstream Park simulcast. All the temporary help did not know who to call to get that fixed. The tellers didn't know how to place bets and the cell service, so I could get the odds died once the crowd showed up. What a joke. it's time to move this event to Laurel.
I goto preakness every year in turfside terrarce. This year the unfield was empty. Why? Because in oast years we had bands. Up and coming bands like little big town and fl ga line. Having the headliner play after the races is a mistake. We pay lots of money for racing and concerts. No dj. Country and rock bNds are better suoted for preakness. Not unknown dj
The bands should play before the races end. Bug mistake for band to.play after most people leave. The dj must go. Preakness always had up and coming bands. I saw glorida geirhia line.
Preakness has it all and then some. I literally plan my year around it
Everyone knows that Pimlico needs a little work. Well, maybe a lot! But the people that work there, are so gracious and accommodating, it makes a real difference. I've been there at least a half dozen times and I'll be back. Raceday and the Inner Harbor make for a great weekend.
The event was very well organized! I enjoyed and plan to attend annually with family and friends. 5 stars for Preakness!!!!
Pricey but good view. Plenty of betting windows. Policy was no smoking in seating area but vendors walked around selling cigars which made little sense.
Best Preakness ever! Great seats! Only thing that would be helpful is if in your description of the seats you could tell people if the seats are covered or not
Good food, nice vendors, nice people, great entrainment overall!
