    Whalers

by Anonymous on 2/21/11Compuware Arena - Plymouth

Terrible seats. The coaches for the spitfires stood on the bench the entire game. We couldn't see the whole game. The ushers told me that those seats are always like that...I paid for best available!

Really good game; Whalers were great

Although they lost, the Whaler's played hard. Both teams played well and the action was exciting.

Seats behind benches don't have great views

by Anonymous on 12/30/10Compuware Arena - Plymouth

On paper the seats behind the benches, where we sat, look great, but in practice: not so much. The coaches often stand and block your view. Much of the action has to be viewed through the glass at an oblique angle, which distorts your view, and there is a fair amount foam padding at eye level. I think it would be better to sit higher up, where (I think) the seats are cheaper. The arena is fairly small, so that even the "high" seats are fairly close.

    Plymouth Whalers Game....

by JimyC on 12/13/10Compuware Arena - Plymouth

I had a great time at the Plymouth Whalers / Kingston Frontenacs game. I had a seat right at the glass, right next to the Kingston bench. I brought a couple of Doug Gilmour hockey cards which he autographed for me and I brought my camera and took some nice pictures. The game itself was great ! It was fast amd very entertaining !

    First Hockey Game

by daretoimagine on 11/22/10Compuware Arena - Plymouth

It was a great night from start to finish. Seats were in Section 102, Row C on the glass right behind the opponents box. Really nice facility with easy access from parking to your seats. Bird's eye view of the real happenings all the way. Staff at the arena were very friendly and made it easy to fit into the surroundings. If you don't like the behind the scenes view, i.e. coaches standing on seats, players standing and being in a position that you won't be able to see the fights, then these seats are not for you. I myself enjoyed my view. Gave me a real feel for how the players handle the stress of the game. It was a great experience. I'd love to do it again sometime.
