    Less than stellar

by TC on 3/27/23Blue Ocean Music Hall - Salisbury

The venue was clean, and nice. But that’s about it. They closed the bar up early- I am guessing their policy is 2 hours after show start. For what I paid, I was way less than satisfied. Go see a cover band for free at a bar. You’d be better off for it. The sound was good, but too quiet for me. That could be the band’s decision. Our seats were way back from the stage. Not worth paying like $350 for my group to see the show. The venue does have a great lineup of cover bands, but you’re better off catching them at Hampton Casino if you can.

    Playin Dead rocks

by nostrilfeet on 8/9/10Showcase Live - Foxboro

Playin' Dead, Boston's Grateful Dead tribute band, is awesome. I've been to hundreds of dead shows through the 70's 80's and 90's,and at times i feel like i could close my eyes and not know the difference. This band rocks-I encourage any dead head to go see them! (especially the closed-minded ones who frown on "cover bands" and to them i say -- Jerry would want you to go and enjoy the music so get your head out of your butt and go see them !")
