Fun night and a different way to see a movie

    by lowedown98 on 7/22/16The Mann - Philadelphia

Overall, the night was a lot of fun. It was very interesting to see the orchestra playing at areas where I didn't even realize there was a score. It also highlighted how much emotional impact the music has in a movie. It was also funny to see the musicians watching the movie when they weren't playing! The facilities were great! We hadn't been to the Mann in some time, so it was nice to see some of the improvements they made. It was also fun having a Delorean done up like the car in Back to the Future. There were some issues with parking and it was a warm night. Once the sun went down, it cooled very well, but the air didn't circulate to the balcony very well.

    great scott!!!

by TeamMarty on 7/18/16The Mann - Philadelphia

This performance was awesome! I had goosebumps as the orchestra played the theme music. My 7-year old couldn't stop humming the music. such a beloved movie. The Delorean also made an appearance near the concession stands:) I only wish they sold tshirts so I could brag about it more.

    Amazing show!!!!!

by McFlyingDelorean on 7/16/16The Mann - Philadelphia

Back to the Future is my all-time favorite movie so when I found out about this show, I couldn't pass is up. The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra was spot-on with the sound track and played perfectly in-time with the movie. The only thing I didn't like was that the movie could have started a little later due to the sun making the screen harder to see toward the beginning of the movie. Also, there were a few times that it was hard to hear due to the orchestra playing louder than the movie.

    An epic experience!

by MDStP on 7/13/16The Mann - Philadelphia

It was amazing to watch such a classic film while having all background music played live by a wonderful orchestra. I am glad that I experienced it with one of my favorite movies.

One of the most incredible evenings with my family

by TheMartinezFamily on 7/12/16The Mann - Philadelphia

We had dinner at Creacendo and then saw the show! One of the absolute best nights with my husband and son!! I am so happy we went. We will be looking for more opportunities to see events there. This was a great way to introduce my son to orchestral music paired with something he already loved! Back to The Future!!

Back to the Future at The Mann

by JenksMon on 7/12/16The Mann - Philadelphia

Great time watching one of your favorite films with a bunch of people who think like you. Everyone was into it and it is a lot of fun when everyone laughs and cheers at the same time. The added effect of the live orchestra made it that much better.

Back to the future with Orcestra was great!

by Teeflez on 7/12/16The Mann - Philadelphia

I love the back to the future with orchestra. I already love the movie but with the orchestra it brought new life to the film. It was a great night out and a good time for a date night or a family outing.

Back to the Future at the Mann

    by ktwizzler4 on 7/12/16The Mann - Philadelphia

We were a little apprehensive about the lawn seats and being able to see both the movie and the orchestra but our worries were for nothing. We could see both and while it was a little warm outside, both the breeze and the crowd made it worth it. The movie was great (of course) but the addition of the live music took the experience to a whole new level. Great job by the Orchestra! Bravo!

Venue and atmosphere was amazing. The conductor and the Pittsburgh Orchestra put on a lovely show. The new layer of live music on top of the classic story of Back to the Future added new feelings of suspense and humor that made the movie feel fresh.

What a fun outing with friends! We had three generations of folks in our crew, and we enjoyed every moment.
