The very model of a modern major production!

A wonderful production with excellent singers, wonderful sets and fantastic food.

Had a great time! Why is there a minimum number of characters for this response.

    This production has sound issues.

by quiltsinger on 8/5/14Toby's Dinner Theatre Columbia - Columbia

Normally, I love Toby's and I love Pirates of Penzance, but this production was impossible to hear clearly. The instruments overwhelmed the words and I could not understand anything the singers sung. The only time you could understand the words was if someone was singing alone and in Gilbert and Sullivan that is not usually the case. It was fairly disappointing. Since the food is always a bit blah there wasn't even that to help out with the evening. The performers, as always did the most enthusiastic best and it was not their fault that the show disappointed.

    Enjoyable experience

by Luckycat18 on 8/3/14Toby's Dinner Theatre Columbia - Columbia

The buffet had plenty of choices and variety. The actors were also your servers. Seating is at tables set up around the performance area. No bad seats. It was a fun night out.

    Hilarious!!!

by Morgana1981 on 3/15/13Times Union Ctr Perf Arts Moran Theater - Jacksonville

I had been wanting to see this live since I took History of American Music Theater in high school almost 15 years ago. I was beginning to wonder if I would ever find a theater where it was part of the program of shows. It was so much better than the video/DVD version. I loved it!!!
