About

"Can't I have just one more?" When Pinkalicious eats one too many pink cupcakes, she catches a case of Pinkititis and turns pink from head to toe! It'll take the wisdom of her broccoli-eating little brother to help her get out of this predicament. Don't miss Chicago's Emerald City Theatre production of this smash hit musical based on the popular book by Elizabeth and Victoria Kann. Best suited for cupcake lovers ages 3 and up.

My family enjoyed this show from start to finish. Very well done and would take family to go see it again.

A great first time theater experience!

by Pinkamommy on 9/3/12Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

My 4.5 year old daughter and I had a date with Pinkalicious. Daddy took the baby to play and off we went for my eldest's first live theater show. We loved it. It was fun, funny, and engaging. The show and the cast are beautiful and bright. It was interactive and short so the kids didn't have to sit too still and it wasn't so long that they couldn't pay attention. Highly recommended for the preschool set!

Very cute. We loved the singing about green food. Loved the pink, pink, pink on the boys.

    Great family entertainment

by Anonymous on 8/29/12Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

I attended this play with a 6 and 9 year old child. This was a high energy fun play. The 5 people in the cast did a great job and the length of the play was great. It was really nice that they came out for pictures and signatures after. The only downside was that I felt it was a little loud. Other than that, it was a funny play, with great message. Would highly recommend and would consider going again!

    Entertaining

by Anonymous on 8/28/12Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

From kids to adults we all had a good time at this play. the only thing I thought that was bad was the speed at which the songs/words were sang/spoken. It seems too fast for children, but the general message gets through.

    Fun and funny!

by pgharaibeh on 8/25/12Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

Great show for young kids, and parents! I loved that they had a child-entertaining activity in the foyer prior to the show, and that the cast met kids afterwards. While the book was cute and talked about good food choices (eating green vegetables to reverse the pink coloration)... this musical focused even more on good food choices. And there was also a self-esteem theme of being good enough regardless of your preferences!

    Pinkalicious was great

by Kayakkkker on 8/21/12Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

My 3 year old granddaughter was captivated by this well-done musical. It held her attention for the entire 60+ min. She was involved with the interaction presented by the players and she couldn't stop talking about it when we got home.

Pinkalicious was a great show for grandkids!!

by LFmom85 on 8/20/12Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

My mother and I took my 4 yr. old daughter to the show and thanks to other customer reviews..we knew to bring the Pinkalicious book with us for autographs after the show. This was my daughters' first musical theater experience and everything was amazing - the sets were colorful and imaginative, the actors were talented and wonderful singers and everything about the costume changes and dance numbers really kept the production moving at a fun pace! After the show the actors all posed for photos with the kids and signed their books and were soo charming and friendly :-) I would highly recommend to anyone who lives in Illinois or is visiting Chicago!

    Pinkalicious

by PinkerbellDad on 8/20/12Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

I was very impressed with the show. I took my six year old and three year old daughters and the six year old was held all the way through. My three year old started getting antsy at the forty minute mark but that is understandable although the show still held her attention. They portrayed the Pinkalicious book really well and the singing was great. Both girls are still singing the songs today.
